For years I have used the MAC Prep + Prime in Radiant Rose. On the website it looks like a warm pink, but it’s a very cool pink, unless they changed it. I love a tiny dab under my eyes or on areas of the face to brighten. You might like the peach version of that in the shade bright forecast. It might work as a good color corrector for you.

I too considered Creme d'nude my comfort color for many years and, unfortunately, the new formula is just not the same for me😢 there's none of that glossy finish and the tone reminds me more of the original Myth shade so more peachy than pinky nude. Would love to see you review/compare your favorite mac lipstick shades in the new formula❤

Oh that is so what I was afraid of. I got the new formula Myth a few weeks ago, and I was scared the Creme d'Nude would be the same finish. It's way more matte, and one of the reasons I loved Creme d'Nude is the glossy finish. I didn't need to top it with a gloss so I reapplied that all throughout the day. Good idea on the comparison video!

Oh, I noticed you used the Powder side of the Nikki La Rose Foundation/ Powder brush; do you prefer that side to the Liquid side? Just curious. 😮. Thank you for this look. Can’t wait to see more. I bought the Mac Fix+ glow setting spray ( I think that’s the name Glow) and as a brand new bottle, it sprays out in terribly. 😊😅😢

Thanks! I actually use both sides of the Nikki brush. I like both of the fibers to buff out certain foundations. I have a few powder brushes I have used for foundations and they work great.

Hi Mandy! I have a very similar MAC lipstick story: Japanese Maple was my comfort shade and of course, discontinued 😩 It is VERY similar to Crème D’nude, so that became my replacement shade, and now it’s happening all over again 😭 I think Charlotte Tilbury Kim KW is a pretty close substitute for both of them so in my head that is what I will eventually fall back on. Even the scent is pretty close. Also FYI - I am seeing the new MACximal formula of Crème D’nude currently available online at Ulta (US) if you want to give it a try 🙏 ❤

Oh man...I forgot about Japanese Maple...that one was so good! I do remember loving the KKW too. I think a lot of why I love Creme d'Nude is the finish it gives with the Cremesheen formula. And someone else commented that the new ones don't have that glossy finish. I did order it from Ulta...not sure why it isn't on MAC's site yet. I think it's supposed to be here Saturday, so fingers crossed!

Can’t wait to hear what you think of it!! 🙏 The Charlotte Kim KW shade is pretty glossy - the Sephora website has it grouped with the matte revolution lipsticks, but it’s actually a satin. I’m finding myself wearing it more and more (because I’m always “saving” the Crème D’Nude 😂) but I actually really love it. If you’re disappointed by the MACximal formula or color, I’d be curious to see how you feel the CT compares to original Crème D’Nude.

I think you were using the foundation brush wrong. Nikki says the side that is white is for foundation, and the other side is for powder. Your look is stunning.
