I have a 02 red F-150 and I changed out headlights and corner lights for the clear ones. I also put led lights in it but I left the factory rear lights as is because I actually liked the look of them. Now that you made a video on this, the blacked out taillights actually look really good. I might change out my taillights and 3rd brake lights for those. It really changed the look on Larry. Thanks for the awesome video 👍

Definitely replace at least the reverse lights with LED's. A year ago, I replaced the cargo/3rd brake light assembly with the Dorman one since I already had LED bulbs to install. Didn't fit flush at the top, but nothing clear silicon caulk couldn't seal off. Been looking into getting new taillights for my 2001. Was kind of thinking of going with the chrome version to match the headlights, but after watching this video, I might just go with the smoked version as the stock taillights don't really bother me either and the smoked look cleaner. As for the bumper, I'd try to find one with the slots for fog lights and see if you can't convert that truck to include fog lights.

From experience of smoked taillights and clear headlights on my expedition after I pulled the trigger and put new smoke headlights in my expedition and my f150 also I could never go back to clears on them it tied it so much better together especially with my tint it just all went together better

now you need to paint the rear window surround black. it would be a easy and cheap mod to do. maybe put some newer emblems on the truck too. i put 2010 badges on my 01 and they covered up the mounting holes just fine.

Use a blow torch from a distance on the plastic around the cab light and it’ll bring it back to black but can weaken the plastic

Larry looks bad ass. I have a 98 that I have been fixing up as well. I’m wanting to put tires and rims on mine similar to yours. The way I’m fixing mine up is a blue on black theme. The blue being carbon fiber as well. So anywhere you would see chrome would be blue carbon fiber instead. I’ve had a lot of comments on my truck and a lot of people wanting me to paint their truck just as I have mine. I was curious what size of rims and tires you have on yours and if it is just a leveling kit you have on yours? I don’t want to go taller with the tires just wider than stock. The stock tires on mine was 235/70r16. So how do I go about getting the wide tires and taller rims without cutting the tires when I turn?

People don’t understand on the cheap led lights the connectors use the old factory light sockets you just unplug the bulb and the new led connector plugs into that P.s you should’ve just gone to a Paintless dent repair they could’ve knocked that out without issue
