This was a great little tour of katas raj, I went there 3 years ago it's a beautiful site to see, it's just sad that Pakistani govt isn't doing much to preserve our ancient heritage, if they can't even spend some money on taking care of these temples how are they going to fund DOAM to search for more IVC sites ?

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! Katas Raj is definitely a thing of beauty. An all weather place from a tourist's point of view, but also a place steeped in history and spirituality! You raise a very valid point with regards to the lack of funds. It is almost frustrating how little our governments prioritise the heritage. But in addition to the government, the people themselves are also responsible for not owning these places as their own. And as far as the IVC sites are concerned, our governments and state probably don't even know that there is more to explore or how much India has done over the last few decades in order to find new IVC sites. Sadly, they probably think Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro is all that there is to IVC.
