As a former server, this video makes me so very happy. I almost got fired once because I pushed a cash tip back to a person, not unlike this Karen, who had been awful the entire dining experience. The manager made me apologize. I am 65, and 45 years later, I still remember how this made me feel. The one good thing is that I was determined to find a career where I did not have to work with the public. I got a degree in consumer science, retired at 54, and never had to work with these idiots again. I rarely tip less than 30%. I raised my children to treat everyone with respect. I love this video.

The entitlement is terminal! Once you are this age and behave in this manner, all hope is lost. It’s another case of ‘I didn’t do anything’, “how dare you“, “I’m related to . . .”, “Don’t you have anything better to do?” Not only is the arrestee acting like a kindergartener, her friends are just the same. My man. I was in the service industry for 16 years, busboy to manager and every position in between, back and front of the house, and this is a literal wet dream. “We’ll NEVER COME BACK HERE! We’re gonna tell everyone!” That just means we’ll never have to see you again. And possibly we’ll get more customers because they won’t have to see you there either. They also don’t understand that when good customers see us having to deal with terrible patrons, we get huge tips. Thank YOU for YOUR service beeotches! As a manager, I lived for the moment I could ban entitled people like these. The down side is I still have service industry stress dreams like 3-5 nights a week. I was told the reason police spend 20 minutes asking people to leave, and giving them multiple "leave now, or else" chances is so a district attorney can say the person had multiple opportunities to leave but chose not to.

@natekring9338 Oh. Who handles the case when a person is arrested for criminal trespass, or trespass after warning?
@PilatesbyGina9 ай бұрын
My daughter had a teammate who’s father is a sheriff in our county. We had tons of chats about law enforcement these days. 😂 When an officer has to use force in our county, it increases their paperwork 3 fold. As in hours and hours apparently. His words. Not mine. They don’t want to arrest people esp in simple situations like this where they just need the lady to leave. Most cops don’t want the extra paperwork to handle an arrest w force. So anytime they can get the person to walk away and do what they are being asked to do, they want that. This was not what any of these cops wanted.
@fasillimerick73949 ай бұрын
@PilatesbyGina The military is the same way. Whenever my supervisor would tell us to do something moderately dangerous he'd say"...and don't die. There's too much paperwork involved".

The funniest part for me is I have a good sister who used to act like this in restaurants. She was close to being arrested once when the cops arrived, but reality set in and she left. It was a frigid -30° night and she came knocking on the window by our table to get us to leave. Our steak and shrimp dinners had just arrived so wevindicated we were going to eat our dinner before leaving. This made her angry all over again, she entered the restaurant again to yell at us that we had to drive her home. The owner told her we had not been involved in her altercation with the staff and we were welcome to stay. Finally she left, and we ate in peace. The bus stop was close by and she was so pissed off as she sat there. Why she did not call a cab, I do not know. Is it cruel of me to not have tried to settle her down. No, it wasn't because she was in her 50s when she did this. Lol

Some people just cannot handle being in a position where they have lost all power and will go to any length to try and gain some degree of control no matter how silly and futile. It also makes them throw out their really dark and normally hidden prejudices as they get more and more desperate for control. Protip: If a cop is giving you a chance to walk away, walk away. If you are to the point of getting arrested, shut up and comply. The court of law is where you fight your case, not with the police.
