There's actually a really funny story behind Piper being in the ring with that paint on him. He was never supposed to be painted up in the actual match. What happened was Andre the Giant ribbed him and put glue in the mixture for that paint. Once Piper got it on for that promo, he couldn't take it off and wound up having to wrestle the match with it LOL And speaking of Andre, yes, Jakks was very lazy in the early going for those Classic Superstar figures. What happened with the "Error" Andre was that they made a new head sculpt for him and put in on an old Big Show body.

2 facts. 1 - that jakks andre uses the RA big show body with a new head, hence why it has the 2 straps. 2. That LW BCA Austin uses the STOMP 2 head, hence why it looks the way it does

Hey Daze. You've made a mistake here. You stated that the Maximum Sweat Kane figure was the first figure of Kane with a removable mask, but that's not true. The Maximum Sweat Kane figure was released in 1999, however the Ripped and Ruthless series 2 Kane, which also came with a removable mask, was released in 1998. Just a little FYI.

I had that unmasked rey. Even when it came out it was weird. The face doesn't really look like him,his chest is way too big and his pants look more like germs than camouflage. It was the 1st rey I owned. Well,unless you count that one that got packaged with Goldberg that couldn't move.

I remember buying the Andre figure as a kid and still have it to this day, i loved it but what still gets me about it to this day is the basic articulation it has. now i'd commend Jakks for making the figure a bit more life like by restricting his movement as Andre could barely walk towards the end, but I've got an Undertaker figure from the same line that had this problem, not to mention he had purple gloves with white gators on his boot and a purple tie but no other entrance gear in the packaging. Honestly i was skeptical for longer than i care to admit about Mattel taking over the figures and didn't buy any until about four years ago and now i'm so glad they did, the figures are way more accurate not just the scale but the attires (even if you do get some boring black attires in the basics) not to mention the sculpting, Mattel had really stepped up when it started to seem like Jakks just wanted to ship the stuff out anyhow.

Roddy Piper actually enjoyed that feud with Bad News Brown. The promos were classic. Roddy didn't mean it in a racist way. But nonetheless it's a iconic Roddy moment.
