Honestly, as many times that I’ve heard Bonnie Raitt sing the first song, and I truly love her heartfelt angst, listening to this guy sing it puts an entirely different spin on it. I’m a man, and I know how it feels to be rejected by a lover, even though you tried your best to make it right. This makes even more sense with a man singing. Yes, he’ll do what’s right and leave.
