Swampert is arguably the goat of PvP, with good standing in each of the leagues. I have standard and shadow in all three leagues, and was lucky enough to bag a great league level 27 shadow. What makes it particularly awesome is that it has an attack stat of 5, which is awesome for mirror matches.

Swampert...aka The Crutch, Noobert and hydro spammon. I've always been a water starter player so I'm other games he's still in my top 5 favorites but I hate it in PoGo. And yes it would effect all pokemon using it but mud shot needs a nerf. This would make Gfisk less viable too which would also be good.

I think hydro cannon needs a nerf. The damage output is just insane regardless of resistances.

Something Regular Swampert can do that Shadow can't is beat Lanturn in the 0-1 Shield scenario. I had a Lanturn and their last Pokemon was Shadow Swampert, I was up in shields 1-0. They baited me with the Hydro, I still got to 2 Surf for the win. A regular Swampert takes less damage from Spark and would live long enough to reach 2 Earthquake, being able to live 2 Surfs and all the Sparks.

I think they need nerf the mudshot + hydro Cannon combination specifically.. where you increase the number of mudshots to a hydro Cannon.. leaving mudshot and ice punch, etc the same. Blast burn and frenzy plant on nearly any pokemon doesn't produce that much damage. Js.
