Most of those they target, look like easy victims to them and they're basically correct. They're probably so proud they have the camera and are not going to be a victim, they can't help themselves. They're not street smart enough to think of going along, so they can be caught in the act. Thus save potential future victims. If this were to happen to me, I would so play it up and immediately call 911. Then after the cops talk with them, I would reveal that I have the incident on dash cam.

So after seeing multiple comments saying this was fake I did some digging. While a couple of people in comment sections alleged this was an ad for a dashcam company I can find no proof of this. Everywhere I see the video posted it is purported to be real. No one claiming the video is fake is able to provide any proof that it is fake, no one says where the ad is from or what company it was for, in fact I've only seen one comment on Reddit actually claiming to have personally seen the ad. Unless someone can provide actual proof that this was indeed fake then I am inclined to believe it is real. And no, your opinion does not count as proof, I don't care how fake you think it is or how bad you think the acting is, that is not proof.

Those people had no idea what they went into, but the military didn’t want any witnesses. I'm thinking the driver may have gotten distracted when he noticed how close they were, that's probably what caused him to lose control and I see it alot where people have to be right on the edge of the track...I'm thinking that the rules need changed with the spectators

10:19 yeah, though the cause of the crash was the other driver. If the officer hadn’t been driving carelessly, an offence, he would’ve seen the careening car coming from the other side sooner and may have been able to avoid the crash or at least slow down enough to minimise the impact. I really hope this officer was at least suspended without pay, though really should’ve been fired. An officer of the law should be held to a higher level than the general public.
