As a paintballer, I really enjoyed playing airsoft with people I knew because the full aspect was actual respect of hey if you even think you got hit, go back and respawn. Easier to see who gets hit when playing paintball by all means. I really appreciate watching your content as you show how the game should be played.

Also adding....we play a game where we shoot projectile items. I prefer to play where I can get shot point blank with a paintball but I understand why (Insurance reasons) fields dont allow it. How can you prevent head shots especially with so many factors (wind, weird bb, and circumstances.) ugh....this is annoying to see people playing a game of projectiles....ugh...
@alexg44622 жыл бұрын
When I used to airsoft with friends we would not call our shots that were not very direct. Then after the game we would talk about the glancing shots that we didn't call. It's really cool to be able to trust friends to call head center mass shots but keep the game going for fun and not call the slightest glance or weapon hit. You can only do that with friends or people you trust though.

Even in paintball it's such a contest to see who can cry louder. After playing and volunteering as a ref at my local field i eventually stopped going because it was the same people crying and complaining "Oh so and so shot me too close, or blind fired me, or bunkered me" and then "Nah i rubbed against a wall thats not a hit" with literal wet paint and fragments of the paintball scattered across the area. It got so bad where i refused to back down on a call and told the dude to get out of the match and he goes crying to the Admin who he is friends with after wiping off the paint and has me removed as a ref for the day.

The headshot drama always confused me, when I started playing I wore a full head and face mask, one of those fencing looking ones, because I was scared to get shot in the head. Exactly. And if anything, it should motivate them to be a better player and get into the game if they don't want to be headshot. The headshot thing is so weird, yes they are painful but they happen the organizers need to make sure that all their players are wearing face masks if they are worried about complaints, otherwise, they should tell people to suck it up or leave as it's a thing that can just happen. The same goes for traps and pyrotechnics they must be super clear on the rules and make sure their staff knows them as well so they can sort out problems correctly.

It's a game, a laugh, a bit of fun, play it properly and have a giggle or bugger off and play paintball. It’s immature and childish. You should be setting a positive example for people. ESPECIALLY YOUR CHILD! But I understand that their is always parental instinct and it may play a part but your playing a game to shoot people and get shot. As a former airsoft sniper (haven't played in years) I can say without a doubt, that sometimes unfortunate headshots happen. You're running high powered rifles with crazy hop up systems, and sometimes you underestimate the targets range and accidentally clock him in the head. Also, when some fool is exposing nothing but his gun and head, what else do you shoot at? Great vids mustang. I kinda quit playing because of this culture you're showing off. It got really annoying seting up a good sniper position and land a perfect hit only to have the person look around, not see you, and decide to keep playing. Gets old after awhile

Same, I was looking forward to actually meeting some people and making it a regular thing, possibly even learning from them but I quickly knew I would probably have to put hands on some people at some point. You have a lot of guys who don't understand that it's supposed to be fun, they take themselves way too seriously, the first time I went I wasn't very good and was surprised at how skilled some guys were but I always respected it, never moaned, was more impressed if anything, it just made me want to get better, I don't understand why people cry about getting hit or won't call their hits, it's apart of the game, cheaters ruin it for everyone else and it disrupts the flow of the games. I've had days where it just felt like it was wasted time and money not because of the location but the type of players you encounter, it's kind of a luck thing, sometimes you get good players other times you can tell from early on it's going to be one of those days.
@11bornrich Жыл бұрын
@@ryanwood6754 Those are the exact ones that I've encountered that ruin everything. I honestly don't get it, I wouldn't partake in something that other people genuinely enjoy and ruin it for them just because I'm no good. If they do that, then above every berm, through every window, all you would be able to see is a head, which takes all the fun out of the sport you are involved in because there would be no viable target. Yeah, I used to play a bit of Airsoft with some mates years ago. Getting people to acknowledge hits was never 100% consistent. As for stuff like headshots and booby traps, I think it's down to being 100% clear on the rules at the start of the game. However, it is really hard to completely prevent headshots, particularly with a pistol. I think if people don't like headshots they probably need better headgear that offers some protection.

I remember that when I was in the US Army, some soldiers would cheat with their MILES systems during FTX combat simulations. My first time competing in paintball was at Camp Casey, South Korea, where they had a pretty decent area for paintball. Initially I fired as many rounds as I could at opponents from my semi-automatic Spyder Compact, but I soon learned that by firing at opponents from too great a distance made me vulnerable because it made me easier to detect, so I ended up getting sprayed from a competitor's full-auto paintball gun with a backpack tank that was able to mow down the vegetation I was using for cover. When I moved to Fort Polk, I discovered that there was a great area for playing paintball about 100 yards from my apartment when I heard people playing. I asked if I could play, and was told yes, so I put on my gear, including my ghillie suit and joined in. I took up a position in a shallow ditch by a path, behind a tree, and soon saw an opponent walking down the path toward me. I kept my gun pointed at him and waited until he saw me, which was when he was about 5 feet away. When he started turning his gun toward me, I double-tapped his forehead. He congratulated me on my concealement. I found that by hiding well and waiting for opponents to get close enough for me to get a guaranteed hit before squeezing the trigger, I not only saved a lot of money on paintballs, but I rarely got hit and had a better 'kill' rate than when I used a lot of paint, often taking out about half of the opposing team myself. I had some airsoft guns that I had bought in South Korea, one of which I used for killing cockroaches, as it was accurate enough that I could consistently hit a cockroach from across the room, and it was effective at disabling or killing them, so I could just walk over and sweep up their remains. I'd like to try competing in one of these airsoft competitions some day. I just hope I don't encounter any whiny pansies/crybabies who want to act tough but cry at a little discomfort. Take it like a real man or don't play the game.

When I was a teenager, I used to use an air rifle to kill houseflies that ventured into my bedroom. I had heavy duty curtains that effectively stopped BBs, so I never broke a window. I don’t play airsoft but I’m loving these videos. Keep exposing these dudes for the liars they are. They need to be shown this. People like this scare me. It’s literally criminal behavior. Humble yourself and go be competitive. “Win at all costs” is a dangerous mentality.

I’m sorry but I’m gonna have to disagree with that last statement. In order to achieve anything in life, you must do everything you can to achieve it, that may include taking some risk, don’t generalise saying that win at all cost is a bad mentality

at least here state side, ive been enjoying the content. as far as people not liking the head shots, well then they need to give you more then a head to shoot at. keep it in the ten ring bud, loving the content.

I haven't played airsoft in a long time but back when I did play I loved using my brothers sniper and going for headshots. Playing with my brothers and their friends they supported me trying to get better. I remember getting my first headshot on my brothers friend Cooper and he was super excited for me. We of course were wearing face protection but if you don't like the headshots protect your head
