Bro I ain't gonna lie, in my opinion. Ash vs Clemont and Ash vs Korrina has to be the top 2 most underrated battles in the XYZ series because these battles was so good that it had me and my childhood friend/my now girlfriend on the edge of our seats. I swear when both of those battles came to an end, we both literally dropped our bowl of popcorn and chips as we was looking at each other with shocked faces

Ash vs Olympia is still hands down my favorite gym battle in the franchise. Ash's strategies were next level, and using Pikachu to predict the Future Sight has to be one of the most goated tactics ever!

I honestly thought the first half of Ash V.S. Sawyer was sick as hell. Pikachu vs Aegislash and Clawitzer shooting around the arena were both awesome. Both sides were, I would say, at their smartest in the entire series.

For me, Talonflame vs Moltres. The fight was hype, and Ash showed his love for his Pokemon by jumping headfirst into a FREAKING VOLCANO to save him once the battle goes south. He became one of my favorite Ash Pokemon just for that episode alone.

one battle that isn’t really on the same level as the ones you brought up in this video but i still think is really underrated is that one battle with team rocket in the furfrou episode where pikachu gets blinded by inkay. out of nowhere in some random episode they have one of the coolest fights and show of bond between pikachu and ash it’s awesome.

For me Ippei Vs Kageromo is my favorite underrated battle It also was the plot of who was a better ninja for the village shown through the fight Kagetomo just kept having weavil pushing with attack after attack just hoping brut force would win, but Ippei on the other hand actually used real ninja techniques in battle and carefully thought out strategy Kagetomo thought that power was all that matters, but Ippei showed that planning and cooperation was superior. Also the mid air Drop kick from Greninja was👌

My opinion but frogidier vs weeping bell and go goat was amazing the way frogidier use it cloud thing on its neck as a mask to protect the poison powder from the weeping bell was so cool and then the way frogidier use cut through the razor leaf reminded me of the scene in ninja movie I think that is so hype and should at least be in the honorable list

The other battle that is underrated from XY (because I dont see that much of them talking about this fight) Ash Pikachu vs Sawyer Aegislash, that fight have made Ash to come a strategy of how to defeat Aegislash and his solution of this is amazing (and another thing Pikachu got destroyed by Korrina Lucario when they fight for the first time, where Korrina Lucario goes berseck trying to Mega Evolve making one of the most brutal scenes of the XY and Pokemon in general animation)
