I used to main grail knight but footknight really grew on me and is a complete juggernaut. Run Footknight with temp health on stagger with a sister of the thorn with temp health stealing and they will both be immortal.

Even if you do run the Deepwood Staff, you can still top damage if you bring Hunter on it with Lingering Blackvenom. You can poison a whole frontline with a single crit, because 1 crit = 5 crit projectiles, and each projectile can prop Hunter in a mixed hoard, for 5 potential different procs for 10 seconds of 25% more damage. Also, Unchained is often overlooked (and my favorite class in the game because she's so ludicrously powerful), but so is Pyro who is more squishy. Paired with a SotT with a DW Staff, she can have reliable *UNLIMITED CASTING* by taking Deathly Dissipation. Sister lifts special, Pyro kills it on high overcharge, goes utterly ham for 10 seconds, and if she kills another special in that time? Timer reset. I've cast as long for 45 seconds in one instance; 45 seconds of unlimited casting with high crits.

Basically if you max out your overcharge she starts rapidly losing health in exchange for rapidly gaining her ult back. You can then ult to clear your overcharge and get back some health in the form of THP. Best combo

When I play sister of the thorn I love having an ironbreaker on the team because he has crazy thp generation with those staggers and since he basically takes no damage he keeps the sisters health pool full allowing me to play more aggressively.

Iron breaker is the GOAT for carrying new players, all you need is an axe'n shield and a long rifle for specials and you can pretty much one man army your way through even the toughest of foes. Thp generates so fast no basic enemy can kill you and a cursed gromril a day keeps the specials away. I prefer slayer on competent teams though because leap spam go brr

I started out as an ironbreaker main, something about the fact that he has a flame thrower just spoke to me in those tight corridors you are so often forced to fight through. Although my greedy buddies kept getting their backs cooked because they couldn't want for the elites to push through the flames. They just *had* to push past me and bitch about the fact that they were on fire all of a sudden.

Ironbreaker is what convinced me to get the game. Footknight is the class I beat cata on first, ans now the class I play on cata when I want a power trip (eat your heart out doom). I also struggle to not moan in pleasure when a sot joins the lobby.

im just here to say people sleep on crowbill unchained. With high overcharge you can one-tap stormvermin on the head with a LIGHT attack, and take out chaos warriors in just a few light hits. It's crazy shit. Pair with the shotgun blast staff for horde clear and just leave the special killing up to somebody else on your team, and you'll have 70 elites slain while second place has 15.

Pyro is great. Can't go back to unchained after hundred of hours on her. Burning head works 95% of the time and is too useful for sniping specials or clearing space on demand. She has three big flaws: No allie buffs, no damage reduction talents, no choice in 25lvl talents. Other then that she can make work all Sienna's weapons, has great damage, cleave, stagger and thp generation. I hope when 4th comes out pyro fundamentally stays the same.

Outside of Pyromancer whose main problem is that it's straight up outclassed by Unchained and Battle Wizards, I don't think there are any "weak" classes perse. At worst some are just boring one trick ponies like Huntsman and Shades, but none are in any way weak

Honestly as someone with 1600 hours and who only plays legend and cata, I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone other than me say a career is bad. Most people who play vermintide admit that they are bad lol, and therefore I would rank this through popularity of a character and how well it’s played. The only 2 careers I don’t see often, and are played horribly are huntsman and outcast engineer. Every other class I see a lot, and if someone does bad, they never blame the class. That’s just my experience though. I would say outcast though is the most underrated. All classes are easy to play and master, but outcast seems simpler than he is. So I would say outcast is the most underrated in that I never see anyone play him, and nobody ever plays well with him

Imo Huntsman is the most underrated class, even more so than the Foot knight. Absolutely nobody at Legendary and especially above never play the Huntsman and I've gotten my fair share of comments when playing him in cata lobbies.

Foot knight and unchained are genuinely the only two characters that I main 😂 foot knight is an amazing tank support that can stun monsters on demand and lay down entire hordes to revive the more squishy temmates while unchained is in my experience the most powerful character by a country mile. @@charlesd6060 Ironbreaker is way too forgiving to be a good "learner" class. It doesn't teach a newbie how to dodge and block effectively because it has high health and damage immunities. It's a very unique class as it's the only one that can get away with facetanking on higher difficulties, but that won't translate well to a total beginner.
