My top 5 best weapons in Vermintide 2. One for each hero. All footage is Cataclysm. If anyone is interested in the builds I'm running let me know I will post them in the comments

Psst. Hey, you know that battle wizards +150% fire dmg also lowers your other dmg by -30%? Oh and you know who don't get that? Unchained. You know what Unchained gets? +85% more melee power, that's just pure +85% increase in dmg to all melee attacks. With mainstay... we got +145% dmg to all things staggered. But we all know everything will be dead by then anyway, right? Oh, oh you know what ells? 30% less dmg, that's what everything you lit on fire will do. Oh, one more thing, how annoying isn't venting in a fight? you take dmg and spend time producing steam? Don't you wanna kill more instead? how about this, you just need to block an attack. No no no, no timing involved just hold down the block button until something hits you and you will vent a bit for free. How about I add in an extra 15% attack speed too, just because I like you. And if all that is not enough, how about I get you some temp hp from staggering enemies? No, okay how about as long as you hit more then 1 enemy you get temp hp. Better? What's that? You don't like being at high overcharge because you might explode? Fine, ur ult is the explosion now. Vents everything and you can use it as you are already loosing control. I'll add some %power to it if you feel spicy... or you can go for "healing" you party for 30thp. Now then, it's time to unlock those chains of yours. :)

unchained is +60 % damage, venting while block is a bad talent because you want to keep your hight overheat and block hit, dissipation is better and stagger temp hp on BW is just the best THP of the game, unchained cant win this fight lol unchained is good, very good, but BW is out of classement

@@lolilol3396 Agree with everything except conduit being a bad talent, provides a good way to manage being at high overheat and can sometimes pull a clutch moment with the extra bcr which is why most builds recommend it over dissipate or numb to pain. If you're playing with flail then you'll probably never block anyway because you can stagger everything but just learn to dodge attacks more instead of blocking

Its funny to see that: everyone wants to explain why his career is better than others. Just play properly, respect strats and do what u need to do and what the group need to got. Im a maiden player, but if im with grail, warrior priest and Ironbreaker i focus on special, because the group need that. And ironbreaker is really a bad career to start the game, not because its week, Just because u can Just disrespect strats during ur leveling in recruit, veteran, champ, and too much IB make so much mistakes in legend, they Just put the party in difficult situation because IB is permissive with bad move and mistakes. To start play something squeeshy and learn.

RIP to those of us that only watched for the jet ski giveaway... for real though, I agree 100% with your #5 and #1 picks. I just started playing a few weeks ago (like 2 days before it went free) and Sienna was the first one I played. Made it about 3 minutes before I blew myself up. Anyway, I tried the dwarf next and I love everything about him (except maybe RV, haven't played that part too much). Ironbreaker was so much fun that I only played him for a while... I use axe and shield, it's just too damn satisfying knocking rats all over the place. And then I discovered drakefire pistols and that's when I started getting green circles LOL. Basically Bardin is my main, though I have been having fun with Zealot too (hard to choose which is more fun between him and slayer honestly). Great video, love the commentary, earned you a new sub - keep it comin :)

I’ve played Witch Hunter a lot until I ended up becoming a Warrior Priest main. but recently I noticed that the rapiers special attack will knock aside shields. The entire time I played Saltz, I thought only the Billhook could lol. So that special attack is much more useful than some people think, including myself

honestly the ironbreaker belongs to the top of this list. Not by dps, not by team synergy, maybe not even by fun. The pure winrate though. He may not have the pure clutch potential of the hand maiden, but unlike her he will always be the last one alive. He's the best career for if teammates are dead simply because it's never him. It's because killing even a cornered ironbreaker is a minutes long slog of watching him get his stamina back, watching him get 30 thp with one shieldbash and slowly whittle you down with drakefire pistols. And then he gets his ult and escapes anyway.

I'm a glorious Foot Knight main. I may not get any green circles, but without me, you DPS people would die so much faster, because I'm able to push hordes aside, I'm able to push bosses aside, and I'm able to snipe specials. When shit hits the fan, a good Foot Knight has the napkins needed to wipe it up.

IMO tanks, especially as tanky and low dps as IB, should always run shield. Shield synergizes perfectly with the IB kit and is of insane value to the team by staggering enemies like no other weapon, plus letting you tank patrols and monsters like no other weapon, ie letting you do your job better than any other weapon. And I also wanna disagree that any weapon or class is best or better. Torpedo is super strong, but also has super glaring weaknesses which you don't have with other ranged weapons, so it's only better in certain situations and worse in others. And a class that seems weak, the Waystalker, actually shines on cata when played well, because she has unmatched special killing power, which are extra oppressive and crucial to take out on cata.

what i'm missing here for witch hunter captain is that the rapier's special attack is a gunshot that has literally unlimited ammo. epic. it does pretty big damage up close. epic. but what's mega epic is since crit headshots always kill man sized enemies is that you can just snipe blackrats with your free, infinite ammo, perfectly accurate gun and if you hit a crit it instakills them edit: almost forgot, if you have swift slaying on your weapon then the rapier gun counts as a melee hit. so you'll get swift slaying proc'd

Open Beta was dog ass. Was hesitant to buy it, but after watching a couple streams and seeing my friends play, I picked it up aswell.. and man I'm having a blast in preload beta lmao. It looks better, runs better, feels better than before and def is a keeper. May seem somewhat similar to V2, but it feels vastly different - not in a bad way either. Both are a vibe for sure. Pick it up, try it for 2h and refund it if you don't enjoy it - simple :D

Either use dlss on balanced or fsr2 on balanced and it runs well enough to not want to Alt F4 (hovering 100ish most of the time, 80ish in more dense fights, 60 if too many shitty fire effects randomly break performance for no reason) Global illu high, lighting low (doesn't make much of a visual difference somehow), AO and fog medium. DoF, motion Blur off cuz they broke performance in open beta and are cringe af for gameplay anyway, rest is preference

Iron breaker is a career i don’t recommend for new players not because he is bad but because he gives you the idea that defence is less important then it is great career but it does make you have a safety net that kinda hurts new players i can say this as a former ib main

Merc kruber is not under rated lol, he is considered the best kruber class by most top tier players. His best weapon is mace and sword, but greatsword and 1h sword are not far behind. If any kruber class were underrated it would be footknight. Footknight is situationally the best class in the game, and is capable of clutches handmaiden could never dream of and team support that would make warrior priest look F tier.

Very few top tier players consider him to be Kruber's best class. Almost everyone agrees that grail knight is pretty soundly Kruber's best class as it often manages to out DPS just about any class in the game in a prolonged fight. Not counting DLC, foot knight is easily better than Merc with almost unmatched stagger power, ridiculous mobility even with his slowest weapons, and the ability to shut down an entire patrol, horde, monster, etc. as much as he wants. I believe all 3 of Kruber's base game classes are awesome and can easily carry or clutch.

@@hooktraining3966 watch any of the onslaught tournaments, merc kruber is a staple in just about all of them. Grail knight will indeed out damage merc, but merc has significantly more team support with massive thp generation, attack speed, and damage reduction or insta revive. The attack speed alone makes him the best class in the game, as attack speed is by far the best stat in the game.

Ironbreaker is redundant... new players wont know how to tank as him and good players wont need a tank. So it leaves bad players who play the game for some time, but are not willing to improve, or that dwarf doesnt offer better classes... who knows?

Anyone who says WHC is bad should not be taken seriously. He has insane DPS and clutch potential, he can wipe entire patrols and instakill specials AND buff his team.
