As a true Freshman, Syracuse Safety Andre Cisco led the country in interceptions with 7 picks in 2018. Last year, he had another solid season as QBs targeted him less. Despite all this, Cisco still manages to fly under the radar when talking about DBs for the 2021 class. I played ball with him in high school, not at IMG but his previous school before he transferred and it was unreal to play with him. He was a straight ball hawk and his coverage skills were insane, he played corner and would shut down an entire side of the field. He did this in high school but our school played the top schools in NY/NJ/CT (Bosco, Stepinac, St Joes etc.). Crazy to see the difference in skill level these guys have at every level.

TURNOVER MACHINE! In his 24 Career Games at Syracuse, Andre Cisco created 13 Interceptions and 2 Force Fumbles. Cisco's playmaking ability is special, although a lot of them were "easy" as some people would say. At the end of the day you have to be at the right place at the right time, as long as you provide more opportunities for the offense you'll be fine. One of my favorite aspects of his game is how instinctive he is; weather it be closing in on routes and/or filling holes to make tackles, he attacks every opportunity. Also, Cisco will hit you on the mouth as seen on the film. However there is a lot of flaws in his game. Andre Cisco is the perfect flash player. On highlights he looks amazing but on film he gives up a ton of plays over the top. Could this be a possible scheme/coaching issue? or could it be his inability to comprehend offenses which lead to blown coverages? These are major questions needed to be evaluated throughout the draft process. In addition, Cisco unfortunately tore his ACL during his 2020 Campaign in September. These two factors will have a HUGE impact on Andre's draft stock. To me he is a Top 5 Safety in this years Draft Class. Projection: Round 3
