We have had our home in Mulege for 14 years and love it. We were quite delighted when we found your video and started watching it. The white house featured at the beginning of your video is our home built by the same "Cliff" and his crew who have the B&B you stayed in. Thank you for sharing our little town that we love so much.

we drive to San Jose Del Cabo each year for 3 months or so. We always stay in Mulege and stay at the same place you did, Cliff's place. In the early am a man selling tamales will come by. Cliff's also allows for pets and he also rents out actual houses. He is a great guy with a couple sweet dogs. Glad you found him. I've also done a review on Cliff's Place and toured each room in the hostel type area. We've stayed there 10 times in 5 years and have only had others staying there one time. BTW just across the river is an Ex Pat bar, rock and roll from about 10pm to midnight or so You can just hear it from Cliff's but if you walk to the river (1 block) you can see the lights and get a free concert. Karaoke and people having a great time.

@Puccini Fan @Puccini Fan for this private room and private bath with communal living and communal Kitchen it's about $35/night (click on the link in the description). Cliff is either from Canada or the US (don't recall) so english or spanish is spoken. They also have some private houses but I don't know their rates. I would MOVE NOW...Cliff's is always clean and super awesome. We have stayed there many times and have only had to share the space one time. there is no TV but the wifi is excellent... Here is a video I did of the private rooms and communal spaces (I toured all the private rooms): kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5_bhKagZsZoi5Y

Love the cave paintings. I hope you got to the beach sometime. I spent 10 days in Mulege in 1975 and loved scuba diving twice a day. There was no craft brewery then, but Ballena Pacifica beer was delicious!

I know exactly what you mean. I went to stay 1 night at historico la casitas and wound up stay almost a month. That is one gem of a little town. The people are so nice as with most of Baja Sur. The garden between the restaurant and bar and the casitas was magical.

We live in Mexico north of Cabo Pulmo and south of La Ribera. We like Muliege since it is a stop as we travel from Baja Sur to Tecate. There is an excellent second-floor restaurante in the middle of town that serves lobster there with wonderful service. We have visited the mission, the prison and enjoyed a pig roast Saturday evening at Serenidad Hotel (south edge of town off Mex. 1). The Hotel also have RV hook-up. North about 30 miles in Punto Chivato which is a remote place to visit, however, they have a famous hotel there with lots of history. Honestly, Mulege looks better to the eye than a place to live or have an extended visit. It is great for a stop-over There are some great camp over beaches south. Thanks you for sharing your impressions. .

Heyy! Im planning to go for a month (home office and eventually one week of vacations) to BCS with my boyfriend. First i was thinking about staying at cabo san lucas and travel to other places on the weekends, but after watching your videos i think San José del Cabo or La Paz will adjust more of our idea of the travel, that is basically a quiet stay near the beach to go for a morning walk everyday, take sun in our breaks with a quick dip in the ocean and maybe go for a drink or a beer at night. What stay would you recommend for us? Staying in La Paz or San Jose? Also its a good time for travel to BCS on August? I heard it might be windy and cloudy. Thank you very much, love your channel!

Haha the state of Baja California Sur is sort of “open pasture.” Since there’s not really enough water, farmers are allowed to take their cows anywhere they want to graze.

I have enjoyed your Baja California videos so much! This is the area that I feel most familiar with. This is the area that I love the most in of all Mexico. And it's a terrific feeling to know that others are starting to feel the same way. When you really separate the wheat from the chaff, this is the ultimate Mexican Paradise... of course, I was born in San Diego, so I may be biased in favor of Baja, but I'm not making anything up. It's just the best their is...

@@laura-bronner Yes, of course. I love all things Mexico. I just happen to live closest to that area. So it's what I'm most familiar with. In fact, I've always considered myself to be half Mexican. According to family legend, I was conceived in Taxco, because my parents went there for their honeymoon and when they got back to the states nine months later, I was born. So, "Hecho en Mexico," you might say...
