They're not the usual kind too, thicker and some very small serrations so they can cut through tough material. Almost looks like self sharpening.

Yeah I think they designed it for their law enforcement / emergency services clients. I feel like those scissors could cut through almost anything 😂

As a rescue worker I love this setup. Zip tie cutters are a GREAT addition to this tool as well use zip ties for everting and anything all the time, and these look really fast, easy and safe to use! 👍 I would really have liked to swap out the belt cutter for a ph2 bit though, as the shears seem to be way quicker in an emergency than to fiddle out that belt tool. And a philips 2 bit is very useful for A LOT of things! Have already ordered one for myself. Looks like an excellent tool for S.A.R. and first responder work!

Wow, awesome to hear from your perspective as a rescue worker. I think those shears are excellent, I cut through some nylon straps pretty easily with them. And yeah, it's strange they didn't put a bit driver in there.

Yeah it feels like it could take a beating too. I've used it for some time now and wish the blade and saw were larger.. But they still do the trick

Fiy, the attachment is a molle system, look it up, it's been around for decades now. A serious company in 2024 should be doing a laser cut molle design made of cordura and some kind of kydex sleeve in the inside for retention. I dont like how these companies are stuck in the early 2000 with their holsters.

Those loops on the back of the pouch are molle attachments for fixing to a vest or backpack etc

I bet you could cut right through a penny with those shears. This is the first multitool I’ve seen in about 12 years that I’ve actually been tempted to buy that’s a full-size multitool. Once I bought the leather Man that had all the tools in it about 12 years ago( which I can’t remember the name right now for some reason) after that I only bought some smaller ones. But this one is actually intriguing and I’ve watched so many videos on so many channels about multi tools and I just don’t use them enough to keep buying them whenever something new comes out. But this one has me going a little bit. Hopefully some of these other companies keep the fire under Leatherman because they haven’t been really doing very much. Actually, I just remembered that I bought the Leatherman signal a few years ago, but other than that I haven’t bought anything except for a few small ones.

Yeah I'm sure it would. That would be similar to me cutting through a 5 cent coin in Australia. You'd probably dull the edges though. Let's see how this thing holds up long term. Wish it had a longer blade and saw especially but can't have everything I guess.

How is the fit and finish in comparison to other Chinese multi tools and American brands?

I don't have other brands of Chinese multi tools, but compared to their others like the Flagship Pro, this one is a step above. The machining is cleaner and more precise, finish is superior. I think it holds up nicely to my leatherman tools even though it is larger.

The leatherman tools would be better if you needed a larger variety of tools, bit driver, and smaller sized tools to carry around.

Maybe a thin one made of a softer metal. It wouldn't hold up to something like stainless steel, tungsten.
