The avenge assist is what causes a Mii to do a lot of damage, not the angry status effect. The praise assist isn’t the only way that a Mii can get the gleeful status effect. Safe spot can also get rid of nightmare status effect.

You can also use the Horse Whispering Princess to make the Party Members Gleeful Status to recover some MP.

I don't know if this really counts, but Sulk, caused by Quarrels, results in 30% lower damage output/Healing Skill Efficacy sometimes. There could even be more Quarrel related effects to mention, but idk if Sulk even counts here, so I won't list them all out.

how to get said status effects, (not all enemies listed because there's 2 many) most of these can also occur during Boss Snurp in Tower Of Despair Anger: when a mii gets knocked out, Twerkeys and their variants, Flower Power ability (from flower class) Crying: when a mii gets knocked out, some Banshees, Griffins, Ghost Mallet/Heavy Hammer Vacancy/Calm/Astray (whatever its called): Owls ONLY, Princess' Eau de Cologne and Imp's Sweet Whispers can cause this effect to happen to another enemy Dance: Tarantula ONLY, but some classes have attacks that give this effect to another enemy (eg: Elf's Dancing Arrow) Faceless: Dark Lord ONLY (he... steals ur face, also the BANGER version of the Dark Lord's theme plays) Cranky: Quarrel. When defeating an enemy Spiders: Arachno(Mii) only (idk if other spider enemies can do this, however lmao) Spite/Darkness: "Queen" enemies, some Imps, Bansheevil Excited/Hyper: Lureshroom, Rock Hoppers and their variants, Imp's Charm Ability, Pop Star's Horseplay ability, also hyper sprinkles Puppet: Yeah, you guessed it. Puppets. (Haha Manor Macabre go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) Aging/Old: Aliens. Anxous/Nervous: Demons and their variants Nightmare: Dark Lord (and the Replicas) also Cerberus + Darkest Lord (and the replicas too.) Sleep: One of Air Headed's Quirks and the Mage's "Sleep Tight" Ability Burn: Flaming Wind, idk what else actually Pharaoh's Curse: Yeah it's le Pharaohs Stone: Medusas (obviously) Eat: In Soviet Russia, HAMBURGERS eat 𝘆𝗼𝘂 Blow: Harpy enemies, some Wind enemies Terror: Dragons, also when the "there's something hiding in the grass" event occurrs, you get a closer look, and it's a monster's nest.
