Been playing close to every weekend for 20 years now. Been a "ref" for about 15 years. And still active in both game and as staff. Id say i have experienced my fair share of episodes. I have co-workers, guests, and friends that i do not agree with, regarding KM's way of taking out people. And as someone that have been playing all "roles", i find his way of playing 100% ok. YES! There is doubtfull episodes, i will not say different. But at some point you simply just become fed up with people not taking hits. Specially when you only have "that one shot", that you have used time to set up. I use a bolt action VSR for CQB. 1.6 joule = 0 safety distance in Denmark. And i have multiple videos of people not feeling it, when i hit vests, helmets etc. So i automaticaly aim for head, nuts, tight pants etc. Not trying to hurt people. But want them to both feel it, and call it. This is a contact "sport" no matter what. And as long as you have the required safety gear on, i wil shoot what i see. The fact that we have grown ups sitting here, crying. That they got shot in the mouth. Or nuts. And it hurt them? Find another hobby. This can hurt! And if you play around with weapons that shoot hard and great distances, expecting to NOT get hurt, or feel it? Then its you that is the problem. For the people not using face masks? That cries when shot in the mouth? Use a face mask, stop crying, or take up knitting. 15+ years as a ref? I simply cant stand listening to grown up men, dressed up like elite soldiers, crying over a plastic bb. When i have "newbies" and female players out there every week, getting shot to the point of bleeding, just to laugh, take pictures and brag about it. This "sport" has become more roleplay and cosplay, than airsoft. People are too fragile.

I agree with all the things you said however, what i don't agree with is shooting people in the face, specifically around the mouth area when they have no lower face protection. Now don't get me wrong, its 100% their fault for not wearing any, but i would much rather hit them in the plate carrier and them not feel it, than to be the person who shot their teeth out in a game where the final result after the end of the day means nothing to anyone. Its not like you have won an actual war, there is no need to purposefully aim for teeth when getting that "kill" means nothing to your actual survival. that being said though, i agree 100% that you should be able to take face shots, its not your fault that they arnt wearing face pro, just I personally would try to avoid taking someone's teeth just to boost my ego that i was able to help win an imaginary war that I'll have forgotten about in 6 months time. As for the pain in the hobby, yeah no, if you play the game, expect to be hit, it might hurt, get over it. I agree with you 100% there. I personally run a lower face mask that is very thin fabric on the sides and only has anything protective where my teeth are. I've been hit in the face, it hurts but you just get over it.

If you play well with good positioning and situational awareness, those are the only things you expose to gunfire when firing from cover.

At the first session I ever played I was told "you wont get hit in the face, you've got full gear and head cover, you're good." @@-Grizzly_ Legally airsoft guns are outlawed here. Import laws on them are incredibly difficult to get around becase of the harsh gun laws in Australia. Especially in New South Wales. In Queensland they are legal-ish but must be sold as "toy gel blasters" and fire a little water based pellet and not a BB.

I've never played airsoft, which could also be called airhard, but I was an avid paintball player over ten years ago. I would say that cheaters abound no matter what game you play. I really like your videos and enjoy the banter which makes me reminisce of my own time in fields of pseudo battle. I'm always impressed by the people that refuse to wear the proper protective clothing and those that complain about the pain. Cool stuff man and please keep it up.

The entire reason he goes for the shots on the "sensitive" bits is because he's tired of people not calling hits, which I myself understand really well as I encountered a nasty cheater who never called hits and his buddy used a field illegal DMR which not only was firing hot but was also not supposed to be used in a 9 foot long hallway, resulting in me having to dig bbs out of my neck, shoulder, and bicep.

@@jepthefish2108 Pretty much everyone who said that information likely sourced it from that infamous Supervisory Effect video that was made on him like half a year ago. Long story short, the aftermath of that video became nothing more than a pissing contest between both of the communities involved. It was a huge Shitshow down there. 11:35 contains a short edited sample of that video I was talking about. It made a huge mess that people are still cleaning up.

I've been here for a pretty damn long time now, I'm glad to see you're over 3 million now. As far as everything else, f them people who complain, I know a fake though guy when I see one. The typical guy will go make fun of someone wearing full face protection, then get shot in the cheek and cry about it like a little baby. Same ones that'll hide behind a wall for cover and stick out just their head and gun, and complain like little children and throw an entire tantrum about being shot in the head... The amount of weak older "men" in that world of airsoft is absolutely amazing.
