Have you thought of having Simon and Ezra make a picture for the sibling they bond with. Marie is very patient and loving with Simon as is Mark with Ezra. I bet they would love something the younger makes for them as a thank you for all they do for them. It's also a subtle way to teach them to notice and show appreciation for the little things others do for them (like the car cape or letting them 'help' open the siblings birthday presents).

@7Aheadfamily

Hydronephrosis does not generally cause any long-term problems if it's diagnosed and treated promptly. Babies with the condition may not require any treatment at all. The condition can increase your chances of getting urinary tract infections (UTIs).

I really appreciate this video. My two older children have autism. they were diagnosed when they were two and three years old. They are now six and seven. My two younger ones just turned four and one. it’s been extremely challenging because my kids fight so much! I did a parent training for six months, but it wasn’t specific to Autism. I’ve done my best to teach my children not to hit, and to use their words or to distance themselves and have a alone time. My kids fight a lot. There is often hair pulling, scratching, they even hit me and I have bruises on my body sometimes. honestly, most days I feel miserable and I feel defeated. We include God in our lives and we’re pretty active in our church. Going to church and pray praying and being active in church doesn’t really make a difference. I just have to get through it. It’s mentally emotionally and physically draining for me. It’s been very challenging. Did you all ever receive any ABA therapy or any type of support to help your children? Or did you just fighter things out on your own? Where we live, there is no support for Aba therapy. I have my kids on a waitlist for disability and they are like number 2000!! It’s been two years… I’m amazed that you can travel around and get through your travels with your children. Both of our kids are runners! So we just don’t feel safe doing a lot of outings with the kids. Mostly the park, seasonal events, and the local pool… It’s cool that your older children help with the younger children. The older children on the spectrum are modeling the behavior for my two younger children in my family. So it’s been extremely challenging. We can’t do anything as a family in public places. My kids are very disruptive wherever they go. We are the annoying family at church and my kids don’t have friends at church. That’s why wee we would hope for them to be included…usually have to have a third or fourth adult to help. Two of our four children are runners. They have AirTags. Church is always a challenge as well. When church ends my kids run around and they hide and we’re always the last ones to leave. The teachers can always hold onto the kids until we get there. Are you all certified BCBA, RVT, or therapist for Autism? Or is your program based on your personal experience with your kids? Could use some parent training on what to do. You guys seem so patient!

We have an ASD club which meets weekly on group calls, and we also have parent coaching. Our coaching is based off our own experience, but also off of years of working with many BCBAs and RBTs, ST, PT and OT. We also do music therapy too with our kids. We’d love to chat. www.7-ahead.com/asdclub

Okay, so I just wanted to clear something up so level one autism means that the child has no delay but when they are younger, they could have problems with speech but nothing major Level two means that you have some delay, but it is not severe and can improve with the drastic come out of time! And level three is quite severe. The child can't do certain things but can get better at doing other things! And with level three, it can be your child can't speak. They can't communicate or they can't walk, or they just have certain challenges, but every child progresses at their own pace!💓

How important do you think it is to get a diagnosis? My 12 year old daughter seems more like a 5 year old. My ex husband refuses to let me take her for testing or counseling. He says a label won’t change who she is. But I feel like if we knew what we are dealing with there might be tools to help her learn and develop. What do you think?

Do your kids ever go out without all their siblings n you n your husband? It just looks so unhealthy to be around each other all the time. I feel for your daughter, maybe when she’s older she’ll want some girlfriends to hang out with, having boyfriends… it just feels weird to be around each other like this. Don’t ur sons like to play any sports, maybe go to the mall with friends when their a lil older?? This would never work with my kids, idk how you make ur kids be with each other all day, in the house together, go to bed then get up the next day n do it all over again!🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope you don’t have a bunch of kids that start acting out when they get older! Even you mum, you need friends too, someone to talk to, go out for some drinks, just to do something different! I guess it works for you or are you really pulling ur hair out behind the camera! Your daughter seems so nice, I just hope she can break outta there some day and have some laughs with girlfriends, it’s so important.🤷🏻‍♀️ Have a nice Sunday!

What’s interesting about our videos, and what’s difficult for people to remember, is that we don’t show our whole lives. We only show a part of our lives. We only show what we feel could serve the viewers. And we’ve noticed that the viewers are very interested in autism. So that’s what we share.. You are absolutely right we need time away from each other. And that happens quite often. my husband and I go on a date night every week. The kids stay home with a babysitter. All of the kids go to school and have friends at school. And once or twice a week our kids go to peoples houses. The three older kids go to friends houses all the time. benson, especially has a good friend that is close in our neighborhood and they will play almost every day. Also we go on kid nights regularly. I kid night is when there’s one adult and one kid and the child gets to choose what to do. Sometimes will go out for dinner, a movie or go out and get ice cream. Sometimes we go to an arcade or go skating. what’s fun about a kid night is that the one child has the one parent’s full attention the entire time. We’ve been doing kid nights ever since our oldest was small. at first I figured that when the kids grew up and became teenagers they might not want to do kid nights. But it turned out that wasn’t the case. They still love their kid nights, and are excited to go out with one parent and get their full attention for one evening. also, I was surprised that you said we make our kids be with each other all day. Since all five of them go to school all day every weekday. So the only day that perhaps we spend all day together would be Sunday. We go to church and do service on Sunday and play games as a family. of course my sons like to play sports. we show the sports on many of our videos. Marie takes tap dance lessons. And she takes tennis lessons. Benson has taken parkour lessons, and now is so good at it, he can practically teach it. Both Mark and Marie take piano lessons. Mark likes to go biking and all three of the older kids like to ski a lot. They’ve been skiing ever since they were little. Skiing is a big deal here in Utah. Benson started up snowboarding this year, they go twice a week at least during the winter. Anyway. Thank you for your concern and I hope this adds some clarity.
