We only have Jimmy Choo in common, which is absolutely gorgeous and definitely in my top 10. My all time favourite perfume was sadly discontinued, ysl parisienne, but at the moment I'm loving Mon guerlain ☺️ edit: notino have midnight rose if anyone loves it!

@@SokiLondon oh my gosh, I just wrote a chapter about this, and then I accidentally discarded my comment. This is *such* a difficult question to answer, and I'll say first that Stella by Stella McCartney was my signature scent back when it was first released, and then I took a long break from wearing perfumes, and only recently revisited my love of fragrance in August of this year by getting Le Labo Rose 31, which I wore back in 2011. I was feeling nostalgic. Somehow I found my way to fragrantica and wound up with my first blind buy- Féerie by Van C&A, which I know you also adore! I pretty much love anything that reminds me of faeries in an Enchanted Forest, speaking of which the one by The Vagabond Prince is really good! I love jammy roses like Rose Omeyyade by Atelier des Ors. People might associate me with L'Ombre dans L'Eau, but La Feuille by Miller Harris has my heart right now. It's a slightly softer and sweeter naturalist sister to the Diptyque. Very fresh and super subtly tangy/sweet, like I've been gardening and picking berries and tomatoes. But then I love cardamom notes more and more too, like in Penhaligon's Changing Constance and Atelier des Ors Lune Feline. Sorry this was so rambling, it's just I don't really have friends in real life who are as into fragrances as I am! Any chance you might attend ScentXplore in NYC in December?

Lancôme Tresor Midnight Rose is one of my favorites as well and you’re the one who introduced me to it. Some of my other long lasting favorites are Elie Saab Le Parfum (heard about it from you), Givenchy L’Interdit EDP, SJP Lovely, Versace Bright Crystal Absolu (heard about it from you), and Burberry London.

Oh no! I need to warn my best friend Lancôme Trésor Midmight Rose because it's one of her favorites. I notice that it's not restocked on FragranceX as well. I don't understand why companies discontinue great products. At the moment, I'm rotating my perfumes so I'm using Vince Camuto's Capri and Oscar de la Renta's Blue Orchid. Capri lasts longer but I love Blue Orchid's scent a bit more. Before that, I've been using Agent Provocateur's Fatale quite a lot, which gave me a vintage, oriental vibe.

Excited to tell you that I got my order of Jimmy Choo edp yesterday and wow, I just love it! On me it doesn’t last long, so will probably have to top it off during the day, so glad I decided to try it! My next one to try is ysl mon paris. I have numerous perfumes, lately I’ve been using woman by ralph lauren and I really love rl’s midnight romance at bedtime. I noticed the price has really gone up on nos midnight romance. I love si and si intense by armani too! Thanks for the great video as ever! ;)

We have Mon Paris in common and I 100% agree that it gives Miss Dior vibes. Jimmy Choo EDP is just a bit strong for me unfortunately so I'm glad I just have a little mini. My favourite at the moment is Armani In Love With You, love the Cherry!

Based on the reviews and fragrance notes of Light Blue Forever I was very intrigued but wasn't absolutely sure I'd like it enough for a blind buy. Finally Macy's restocked the purse spray so I ordered that before deciding on a full bottle. Well, I REALLY liked it, wow! The purse sprays sold out in a blink, but they still had the gift set, the 50 mil, and the 100 mil. But Macy's has so many sales that I waited for a sale before getting a large bottle. And crossed my fingers (and biting my nails) hoping they wouldn't all sell out before I got mine. It could be the last chance before it's gone for good. Then yesterday Macy's sent an email to let me know there had been a 40% discount on the 100 mil. Order placed, (and shipped as I was writing this!). All the other sizes are already sold out. As on May 14 the sale is still on at Macy's, and they still have the 100 mil in stock, but it's a "Deal of the Day" sale so it's short-lived. Today it's very warm again in Missouri. So I'm wearing Versace Yellow Diamond EDT, a surprisingly uplifting summer fave.😎

I have always loved Jennifer Anistons original fragrance (the yellow one) & miss Dior blooming bouquet for spring/summer days, Elizabeth &James white and black mixed for fall/winter days and their bourbon & rose or Pacifica persian rose for fall/winter nights. I loved D&G Dolce rosa excelsa when it was around. Lately I’ve been using RL Romance at night. ❤️

I went to smell Aerin Hibiscus Palm because the notes you described really appealed to me. The scent really reminds me of Karl Lagerfeld's Fleur d'Orchidee which I already have. HP may be stronger but to my nose the Karl Lagerfeld one can be a substitute. It's worth a try because it's very affordable.

Could you do a video about sparkling/luminous fragrances? (such as versace bright crystal)... There was an amazing one that was discontinued years ago.. Dior Addict Shine... that I am afraid to use because I can't find anything that has the same magic and don't want to run out of it. There was another (not sparkling) fragrance that was limited edition by MAC.. Turquatic Heat.. I doubt you could get a bottle anywhere to try it but I don't know, and it's the same story with that one except I have almost nothing left of it. Nothing I have ever smelled comes close.

I think I have a bizzaire nose. I'm turned off by a lot of perfumes on the list though some are okay but frankly I like really 'perky' bright floral perfumes. Like it has to be super spritely. But I love the education on this chanel about what are considered great perfumes.

Have you tried Bon Bon pastel . It’s similar to the original but with aquatic /fresh notes not an eau de toilette but it’s supposed to be sweet fresh . I just ordered it and Bon Bon original as well

yes it definitely has similarities. I'd say the Rose and Pink Pepper and more dominant in it compared to Mon Paris and Midnight Rose where the berries are the stars
