I love Byredo Gypsy Water. It's giving me a calming and nostalgia feel. Since I grow up in Asia, the incense note in the gypsy water reminds me of the temple that I used to go. Its giving me a cultural ceremony vibe, a flower bath (even though there's no floral note), altar incense. It might not sound desirable for some (some people don't want to smell linked with religion and culture I know), but to me, because it's a very light and airy fragrance it doesn't feel like you're just get back from the temple. I love it for a calming scent. It's definitely not for everybody.

People don't really talk about Pulp by Byredo. You either love it or hate it but I love it and it's a compliment getter for me. It is mostly fruity and I find it perfect for spring/summer!

So when I first smelled Gypsy Water , two years ago I was underwhelmed. It fell short of the hype. I tried it again recently, with the point of not thinking of the hype and I really like it! Honestly it would be a love if the initial blast lasted longer and the silage was bigger. It’s a strong like for now and I’ve been reaching for it in this high heat.

I love tea cups. My mom always displayed beautiful antique tea cups when I was growing up. I still love buying antique plates, saucers, tea cups, and little handkerchiefs. My go to body lotions are from Sol de Janeiro. I just don’t think anything gets better. I love the Bum Bum but I’m really into the their new cream right now. It’s called Bom Dia Bright cream and it smells amazing. I also love this pistachio scented body butter from Pistaché Skincare.

I bought gypsy water last year and was really underwhelmed, I do like to layer it with fresh perfumes usually Ellis Salt, but I definitely won't repurchase it. So glad to hear you hype up Kayali citrus, I just blind ordered it yesterday!!

Hi Ilithia, thank you for your video. I glad to see that you like the Chanel Gabrielle Essence. I’ve gotten mine in the early part of the year maybe around Valentine’s Day and I love it I have put such a dent in that one as well as chance of Vive they remind me of one another. I have 13 different bottles of Chanel. I am a Chanelhead for fragrances since I was 16. I haven’t taken the plunge and bought any Byredi yet. I blind bought Memo Granada and became nauseous and got worst migraine ever! ! $270 mistake.🥺😵‍💫🤔. Luxury Dept. Store that I bought it from is horrendous with customer service ! That’s when you find out what they are about. I’m taking my time, getting samples from now on!. Hi have the small bottle of Kayali Citrus 08. Will eventually be the 1.7iz. Bottle. Re: Byredo GW - its the drydown that I am in love with - its the perfect amber/vanilla/sandalwood that you can wear anywhere. It is that chic/wear anywhere scent that is effortless and not too sweet.

Ik love the Perfume and body creme from Laura Mercier .My favorites are Ambre/Vanilla and Almond/Coconut.The body cream is not cheap but so good !

I would love to see your shower products! I will have to dry the body cream, someone else on a fragrance group recommended it today so it must be a sign for me to get it😂 I love to pair gypsy water with light blue, it might seem like an odd combo but I get lots of compliments with it. I think it balances that weird after smell in the gypsy water.

The longer I stay within this fraghead world the more I realise that Chanel just gets me. They are just so airy fairy and lovely easy reaches. Even my husband loves the Chanel men’s line. I have under 20 bottles atm. I just thought, if I were to get rid of all my perfumes and start again, I’d keep my Chanels and BDK parfums. And I’m good.

I tried a dupe for Bal D'afrique but it was gone in under a hour so I returned. As far as the scent it was good, I think it would have grown on me if I had allowed it. The name "Gypsy Water" intrigued me, but hearing you describe it I'm like "hmmm, I might enjoy this but would I wear it"? Mojave Ghost's notes sound like something I would enjoy more.

I tried many from Byredo and to be honest out of the 8 samples I bought, I’d keep Bal D’Afrique, Velvet Haze and Mojave Ghost. I did not like Gypsy Water. For my skin chemistry Byredo is not really long lasting, I have to layer it with a fragrance oil in order to stretch that smell. I’ve never smelled Sundazed.

I think I love Kayali Citrus more than Kayali Vanilla which is mind boggling because I love vanilla notes more than any other citrus notes but Kayali Citrus is just that special ☀️

I like buying full bottles and I live so far away from sample stores etc it takes forever to get them, I also find I don't get a great experience with alot of the tiny samples. I have a thing for unboxing full sized perfumes. Sometimes I do get samples, but not always.

Gypsy Water was a surprise for me too. I find it more woody and earthy than I expected. I have a large sample, and may reach for it more late summer to early fall. I need to try the Kayali citrus-sounds lovely!
