After that, Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers came out in 1987, with Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School and Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf both coming out in 1988. There’s well over 40 “Scooby-Doo movies”. And if she’s talking about ones she grew up with, there’s A LOT that predate her so it’s definitely a valid confusion.

I have a theory of my own: Scooby Doo is the reincarnation of a human. Scooby Doo was once a hard working honest police detective with a large apatite for food, and as a result was rather obese . One day he was pursuing a criminal on foot but all that running and being out of shape caused him to suffer a heat attack and die. He was then reincarnated as a dog, but still maintained his human like qualities. He then attached himself to the gang because they solve mysteries and catch criminals. Despite being in the body of a dog, Scooby Doo (or what ever his human name was) is still a cop at heart.

I loved scooby doo mystery incorporated the most for many reasons, I just love the art style and story that was set. Not just them catching random monsters everyday but solving an actual mystery that tied the whole show together! Sadly it ended not to long ago, but I still watch it

Here's a fun fact: Scooby was actually an alien. He was a descendant of a race of aliens called the Ananaki, which were a race of beings that would often help humankind, however they didn't have a physical form of their own, so they inhabited animals. This is why Scooby can talk, and think as a human can, why he can communicate, unlike other animals. This is actually a proven fact by the show itself in one of their movies or episodes. It explains why Scooby is so different and special...cause he's not a dog at all...😎
