I have 2 Ouija boards in my home and have never experienced anything evil. We do have entities living in the home, but they’re peaceful and they don’t bother us. My home is over 110 years old

I have visited "La Carafe" Bar in Houston. It's the oldest building in Houston proper and is on what was once called "Old Market Square". Under that area is the old sewer system and during the late 1960s, the sewers enjoyed a bit of popularity when dozens of shops were opened, mainly head shops, leather workers, glassblowing, true artisans. It was great. Only a small percentage of the sewers were used, and people have to ruin anything good, so they would climb over the simple ropes despite warning signs to not pass. The system was a vast maze of darkness and all the exits had been closed off. People started getting lost. When they were found, some of them were so delirious they weren't making sense. Others were telling stories that were beyond belief. The logical ones were of animals, alligators mainly, which are believable, but, chupacabras? Six feet tall armadillos?(Been drinking too much Lone Star) And it gets better. Hispanics in Mexican Army uniforms from the 1830s, bayonetting Texican soldiers. Hearing strange, wet sounding footsteps behind them, with gurgling laughter. After about only 6 months, the area was condemned, the shops closed, and it was all sealed off. La Carafe (it wasn't called that at the time) had some steep, rickety stairs to the tiny, black bathroom. I didn't actually see anything, but I got a feeling of foreboding and misery, I just wanted OUT. It's a neat place, tho, and if you're ever in Houston, it is well worth a visit.

I work in Hamilton, and there's this place I work at which used to be Hamilton's capitol Theater. The man who used to own the theater had brutally beaten and killed his wife in his office and had hid her body away in the walls, Police were never able to find her so now her spirit haunts the place, we call her Ms. brown since she's always seen wearing a brown dress, I've caught her on cameras just kinda standing there or I'll see her down the hallway where her husband's office used to be. She's messed with walkie talkies and the lights and I occasionally spot her in my peripherals. She's pretty nice, but she and the other ghosts we have aren't the biggest fans of phones so they mess with them sometimes to tell us to get off our phones. I think we also have a ghost of a child but that one isn't as active, I've spotted it's face in a reflective surface on a camera but that's about it.

Jackson gave Lafitte a full pardon, yes, but at the victory party, word came in about a ship that Lafitte had plundered and burned long before the battle. Even though he was pardoned, the people of New Orleans wanted to lynch him, so he was forced to go back on the run for the rest of his life.

One more comment. I am a native Texan. When my ex-husband, who is from Iowa, and I took my Texan kids to the Alamo for their first time, I wanted to watch their reactions. When we went in, to me, all the tourists seemed to disappear. I could hear echoes of marching boots, and someone calling out orders. I heard a violin, or fiddle, and the ghost of a bugle. The facade of the building was different, and it had no roof. I heard men spitting into cuspidors, the wad of tobacco ringing against the side. I stood in awe, feeling the shadows and wisps as the men headed to the chow hall to eat. We walked slowly through the building, and my ex-husband said something, and suddenly the loud, boisterous tourists were back, shoving through the line to the souvenir stand, waving their finds above their heads. I realized that my son and daughter were tightly holding my hands, not something a 9 year old girl, and an 11 year old boy normally do too often. I looked down and both of them had tears running down their faces. I didn't even have to ask. I just smiled. My daughter looked so concerned. "Mom", she said, "Are they ok? Do they have to fight forever?" "No, honey, " I replied, "they are fine. They are sleeping in God's arms. " You can call me crazy. My ex, who experienced nothing, did. But there is such a feeling of awe there. I don't know if you have to be a native Texan to feel it, but I've talked to several people who have felt it, and while there, I saw a few people who looked like they were just awakened from a dream. Go figure.

@@starryadventure8922 the *hotel* existed, and people were murdered there, but it's like... 2 or 3. Not hundreds. Like they called one room "the hanging room", because they found a rope in there. Most of the legends about Holmes are just that. In fact, Holmes isn't a serial killer at all. Multiple murderer, yes. I know the documentary "they" did wasn't done by Top Ten, but Top Ten is *horrible* at getting the facts right. It's entertaining, but that's all, an entertaining story.

A house can't be exorcised, only a person. A house can only be blessed, because a demon supposedly has to have a human host in order to do much damage. My sister and I had a Ouija board in the early '70s, until we saw a movie in which a Ouija board played a very big part, bringing an entity into the home named Captain Howdy. After seeing this movie, we not only slept with the lights on for a good while, but had a very ceremonious burning of said Ouija board in our back yard.

Been using the oija aka spirit boards for over 20 yes. And never not once have I ever encountered demons. Then again I do t treat it as a game and I use it appropriately and finish sessions appropriately. If you don't know how to use it..just don't. They where once us and we will be them. Not to mention of the entity was a dick in life they will still be in death.
