Lucifer's Domain I was several months premature when I was born and my intestines didn't develop correctly and were pinched off in alot of places they weren't supposed to be. So they sliced me all the way across my abdomen and took all my intestines out and repaired them and got rid of small portions and then put them back in and sewed me up.

I love France and all things French. I know basic French from high school and so did my daughter. We rescued four kittens and she named the runt Toulouse from the Aristocats. When she talked to him in French he would get so mushy and he would kiss her so much. She had Multiple Sclerosis and I have a damaged sciatic nerve. Being stuck in the house a lot we started learning French. It was so fun. She passed away in September of 2016, eleven days shy of her thirtieth birthday. I still talk to Toulouse in French and I still study it aloud because I hope she's still here with me. Sorry to write a whole story but I just wanted to share since this video meant a lot to me. Thank you Rebecca. Your accent is fantastic!!

I was stationed in Germany in 2002, Wiesbaden. Couldn't afford the fast train, but I went and yes the Louvre is truly worth a two day visit. Of the many fascinating Paris museums, don't miss the Museum of Modern Art or the Maritime Museum. The amount of craftsmanship they put into creating displays, the creating of art in Paris is ongoing.

A little tip on "The Phantom"---I can't recall if Leroux explains it in his novel, because his format is taking the anonymous role of a newspaper reporter in 1911 reporting on some unknown remains found in one of the many cellars of the Opera Garnier. The water tank that lies below the opera, is one of many "cellars." It was used in the 19th century for any aquatic effects needed for the Paris Opera. They had a hydraulic system which utilized water stored beneath the stage. This was common in most theaters, including, at one point, the Savoy, in London, for their production of Iolanthe. The other cellars and catacombs were used for miscellaneous storage of costumes and props, which, in the novel, is how the Phantom came about getting his mask. Historically, the other vaults were used in several Parisian revolutions including the Paris Commune, as a hideout for refugees. Somewhere there's a full map of the opera and everything that lies beneath it. It's a really fascinating history, and I don't think the Paris Opera still uses the reservoir, but it IS INDEED still there.
