GREAT Regional meet, I was there in person rooting for OU. Loved meeting people from Minnesota, West Virginia, parents of athletes - it was a great 👍 experience attending all three of the Norman Regional meets Thursday & Saturday! See y’all in Fort Worth!

I would love to know what the judges deducted on Maggy O'Haras bars routine. It looked perfect from the cameras angle. All season long i was hoping that she finally gets the 10 sche deserves on that event. And I'm so sad that she didnt make it to nationals :(

this is the way ncaa does it when there is more than one team split screens and it is very confusing start with watching your favorite team to the least favorite watch a little every day,lol

Anyone know what would happen if the 2nd and 3rd team ended up with the same score? How would they decide who's going through?

I *believe* they count all six scores instead of five and whoever has the highest out of that goes.

Just me, or was Minnesota a little underscored on bars? Or was Oklahoma over scored?

I agree !!! This is why I hate ncca scoring system. Oklahoma is known for being overscored especially at the home meets. No surprise their !!!

as a minnesotan i agree, i hope when it comes to the national meet they aren’t, and there is fair scoring

(I’m late to the party, oops😂) Minnesota and Oklahoma seemed to be scored very fairly on bars from what I saw. Minnesota lacked mainly with the low landings (squats & chest) and handstand angles. Oklahoma had the mistakes on Thomas which were similar to Minnesota mistakes and was scored lower accordingly and similarly to Minnesota. Oklahoma I think just did better on the small technique things that added up for Minnesota, and in general had a better flow on the bars. Even with all of Oklahoma’s away meets they ranked #1 in the nation on bars for that reason :/ I definitely think on some home meets they can be favored, as with many teams when they’re at home.

Yes, but the takeaway is the eight teams that are headed to Fort Worth for the NCAA Championships. (1) Oklahoma, (8) Minnesota, (4) Utah and (5) Alabama in Semifinal I, and then (2) Florida, (7) Auburn, (3) Michigan and (11) Missouri in Semifinal II. The top two in each round make it to the final 4.
