Glad you liked it Frank. The audio quality is poor, so apologies for that as it does not do this great band, and fantastic vocalist, Olivia, justice

@@johncameron9211 one more reason to go and see them live, I did also in 2019 and it was a fantastic concert in a small location somewhere in Belgium with 250 - 300 people, so sad, I wish they could play greater venues. How many where at your concert ?

@@rudolfbecker4313 I’d estimate less than 200. Worthy of much bigger audiences

La mejor banda del mundo con el sonido más pésimo del mundo, grandes Josh and company, larga vida a Mostly Autumn
@lionheard78814 жыл бұрын
mostly autumn changing lives Hold it... Holding the air that you breathe in Focus the noise in your head The hunger inside you for living Tomorrow... Tomorrow we break for the border Thunder and cloud in our wake The sun beaming down on the water Lay down easy my love, I'm awake for the winter change As the stars up above start to rearrange I'm sorry... I'm sorry for blowing the candle out I'm sorry for hiding my face Trying to provide for your innocence And now it's gonna... It's gonna be all kinds of wonderful The colourful dreams at the carnival And that's why I'm lying awake And I'm after the rising stars to the Evergreen Ah these scars for a heartache, guitars and a tambourine Come together, across the water Where the speechless hold the light And the best days, never over And we're changing... Changing lives Calling... Calling to us from another place Bridging across the divide Writing the poem that you know So now we're moving Going to where we're supposed to be I'm not going use the word destiny Cause we're making it up as we go And you sparkle at dawn as you dance through the pale lights And there's ghosts in the trails that you leave behind Come together, across the water Where the speechless hold the light And the best days, never over And we're changing... Changing lives Come together, across the water Where the speechless hold the light And the best days, never over And we're changing... Changing lives

Heather Findlay is greatly missed, never been the same without her
@johncameron92114 жыл бұрын
The beauty of differing opinions. I would disagree Different style of singer. I can only apologise for the sound quality of the footage as it does not do the band or Olivia, in particular, justice. She is a fantastic singer.

@@martinpowell5769 ... Anne-Marie Helder fronted Panic Room (and also performed with Mostly Autumn) ... As far as I am aware Heather Findlay went solo after Mostly Autumn, but I'm not sure if she ever performed with Panic Room ... However, if I misunderstood your reference to Panic Room and were just mentioning them as being a fabulous band, then yes, I agree totally ... I must admit that I love Heather, but also think that Olivia Sparnenn is fantastic too ... :)
@casperhunter68943 жыл бұрын
@@MagicMonkey10100 I totally agree with you! Both singers are great. And they have different voices, so they sound differently as well. And too bad the sound quality is not so great. It sounds like she is singing off key a lot, which I doubt is the case as I have heard her sing perfectly.
@thehunter36373 жыл бұрын
I always feel extremely sorry for anyone who takes over from a much-loved band member. It happened with Genesis and Marillion, to name but two. Steve Hogarth playfully still classes himself as ‘the newbie’ even after thirty-two years! In this case, I’m afraid Heather chose to leave - and no, it’s not the same without her, because Olivia isn’t Heather. They may well have lost a few fans who couldn’t cope with the change, but they have actually gained many more. I do hope you’re not judging them by this extremely poor video, and have actually listened to the much-fêted album White Rainbow - which by the way, was nominated in two categories in the prestigious Progressive Rock Awards. That’s never happened in the history of the band - so perhaps Olivia is doing something right? Did you also know Olivia was on the final list to be the singer for Nightwish? She was pipped at the post by Annette. Olivia may not be your cup of tea, but I’m afraid that the facts prove she is a great singer. So to finish - this in MY opinion - Heather Findlay, Anne Marie Helder and Olivia Sparnenn are ALL great singers -and ALL totally different and shouldn’t be compared.

Saw them performing at the Ferry in Glasgow, playing a similar set to this - absolutely fantastic! Loved your video, which I watched beforehand - it's great, but - excuse the minor criticism - it dosen't do justice to her vocals.

I'm sorry. Really wanted to like this band, saw them a couple of years ago and very generic prog rock band, complete with tambourine and flutist. Came here after a few beers thinking I missed something but sadly didn't. Kids if you think this is OK go to Floyd (anything before Division Bell) or Bowie (Ziggy and before) or (and this left field and not prog rock) Simon and Garfunkel if you want something original.

she's a great singer in the studio, but lacks the fortissimo for a live front singer

Yes I can see what you mean. It's not like she got to the last two for Nightwish (after a grueling audition in Finland) or has been performing live since she was 13, or has numerous accolades and awards on her mantelpiece. In short, Sir, your comment is poppycock. What I would say about this abominable video is that it is an atrocious affront to all of the band and should be removed.
