I was in a Band called Blacklist in Milwaukee and one of our shows we opened for Wendy in 1984. I had the opportunity to speak to her and she signed the record album I brought with me. She was with her Bo Ron at the time and kissed me on the cheek thanking me for being a fan. When we went on stage at The Eagles Club that evening there were over 100 vice squad officers in the audience. They were watching for her to do anything obscene but she didn’t. I just want people to know she was really a very genuine sweet person. She loved the stage and gave it all she could and I will always love her for that!

Her and Lemmy were meant for each other. They even sang the same. Hard to believe she'd be 71 now.
@AFloridaSon11 ай бұрын
Her and Lemmy had some chemistry, and sounded great together, but Wendy and Rod Swenson were together from the 70s, until her death in 98. It wasn't a normal relationship, but no matter who Wendy was seen with, it still her and Rod.
@precious17702 ай бұрын
@@AFloridaSon I always wondered if Rod and Wendy had an open relationship
@AFloridaSon2 ай бұрын
@precious1770 That's a good question. Maybe to some degree.
@precious17702 ай бұрын
@@AFloridaSon it must have been because she was involved with others too, also a few months before her death she was living with some tattoo artist, took his gun and went to Rod’s house and committed suicide in the woods close to Rod’s home

She's the reason Fast Eddie left Motorhead. It wasn't really her, and everyone involved seemed to have a different viewpoint of what happened, but her name seems to come up in every version.

It's so sad, even though she thought it through and decided that's what she wanted to do. Wish she had an outlet for the struggles she had that didn't result in her suicide. RIP Wendy O. Williams. Your legacy is beyond reproach. Same goes for Lemmy. Two rock/punk heroes.

@@theaspiration A lot of those who engage in far-left (in her case) or far-right practices end up doing so because they are looking for acheivement. It is a brief cure, but then, it crumbles.

@@TheCorrectViews She had tried suicide before. Unless you get some help, suicide ideation never goes away. I don't think left or right has anything to do with it.

LOL I had the Great opportunity I can never forget of meeting God AKA Lemmy I was taken to see Motorhead by a great man who was a security guy out front of The Thunderbird Nightclub in n=Newport Beach ( Zooport) I started booking bands and we had Tony Largo (from Mars FM as a DJ in the large danceroom downstairs. Plus some Nectar Go Go dancers. Me and my friend Dan (Ech and Birch Productions started our Friday night there right between the OP Pro and US Open surfing competition weeks in the neighboring city of Huntington Beach to trhe North. Living local on the water of the little back bay directly across from 73rd at the River Jetties I had a friend neighbor that was A qUICKSILVER REP. being good friends with the band that gave Quick the name for and played some songs on their most recent at that time surf snowboard video Quicksilver produced called heap and Deep by the band BOX CAR WINO! i GOT THE ok TO PROMOTE IT AS A qUICKSILVER pARTY HAVING THEM Headline that night. It went great so great our bar tab went from 80 to unlimited that night. We did not abuse it but it was great to get a round for some of the great bands I was able to book and play on our Friday night every week. Bands like Sublime with Brad , Manic Hispanic , Dramerama, Burning Groove, One Hit wonder with Dan Root a way cool AND GREAT GUITARIST AND THE SINGER who also was with The Adolescents bands with Steve Soto and many more GreaT BANDS HED PE AND gOLDFINGERS 1ST OC SHOW funny story I was on a blind date with a Porn Star chick. We were cruising around on my tandem bicycle and did a little off roading in my 87 full size Bronco I am proud to have built

Hers says Rif=ght again Brian and minw says EVERY mOTHER F *&King time Lemmy RIP was Punk & liked to play and listen to Punk Rock too Speaking with hHim for an hour or so not NY INTERRUPTIONS i REMEMBER AT LEAST HEARING HIM SAY YOU ARE SMART ITS GOOD TALKING TO SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO KNOWS WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON. iFELT GOOD AND CONFIDENT HEARING THAT FROM THE ROCK & ROLL LEGEND HE IS SO I CAME OUT AND SAID IT TO HIM I SAID "i KNOW mOTORHEAD IS ABELED BY MANY HARD ROCK OR METAL FOR A REASON YOU GUYS HAVE THAT DOWN WELL WITH A BUNCH OF YOUR SONGS THAT ARE GOOD BUT I LIKE SOMEBEST THAT SOUND A BIT DIFFERENT LIKE A VIDEO SOMEONE POSTED 10% FASTER OF sMILING LIKE A kILLER mOTORHEAD HAS SOMETHING ELSE i HEAR WITH SOME OF THE SONGS i LIKE THE BEST IT IS A PUNK ROCK KIND OF SOUND OR VIBE I LIKE SOME METAL LIKE PRIEST AND MAIDEN AND HARDROCK LIKE ACDC WITH ANGUS YOUNG IN HIS SCHOOL BOY UNIFORM KIND OF LOOK ALOT BUT DEEP DOWN i AM INTO PUNK i CONSIDER MYSELF JUST A LITTLE DIFFERNT AND MOVED TO THE BEACH ACROSS THE STREET FROM A WELL KNOWN SURF SPOT NOT BAD SOMETMES BUT NOT THE BEST BUT i WAS LUCK WHEN i SAW WHAT THEY DID WHEN DREDGING THE RIVER AND STORM DRAINS THAT DUMP INTO THE OCEAN THAT CAN WASTE RAIN WATER AND I LEARNED NOT TO LITTER i EVEN PICK UP OTHERS CIGARETTEBUTTS. OFF THE GROUND IN FRONT OF THEM. They ask me why and i tell them because i do not want to surf with them if it rainsthey are washed into the storm drains that travel underground and into the thing that might be the santa ana river that is from the melted snow not big my uncles 4x4 F25o got stuck some in a hole when it was flowing a litte bit to much where we were all going hunting Rauhauges Pheasantclub they raise them there but not in little cages and release them into big fields not wasy to g=find they hide so well I HAVE COME CLOSE TO STEPPING ON THEM SO WELL I LET HIM GO. wITHOUT A GOOD BREED DOG TRAINED WELL WHE YOUNG SENT OFF TO SCHOOL FOR A LONG TIME TOO GOOD LUCK AND THE SCHOOL TO TRAIN THEM IS VERY EXPENSIVE IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE GOOD LUCK YOU WILL NEED IT TO GET ANY YOU BETTER BUY CHICKENS RAISED IN LITTLE CAGES. tHAT AND YOU BETTER BE A GOOD SHOT TO GET THEM YOU CANT SHOOT THEM ON THE GROUND IF YOU DO NOBODY WILL HUNT WITH YOU TO HUNT ANY TYPE OF BIRD YOU NEED TO PAY FOR YOUR LICENCE YOU WENT TO CLASSSES FOR AND PAST THE TEST AND MANY YOU NEED TO BUY A STAMP TOO TO PUT ON IT TO BE LEGAL THE MONEY GOES TO THE DFJ DEPARTMENT OF FISH&GAME THEY MONITER TO POPULATION COUNT OF GAME YOU HUNT AND PREY AND PREDITOR ANIMALS HABITAT WHAT THEY EAT AND EVEN DISEASES IF YOU THINK ITS PETA saving them you would be a lot wrong. They had hunting tags for deer in a place any taken were turned over to donate to Indian Tribes and poor people that needed them for food and counted onthem for the meattaken from animals not raised in a cage they were wild and only male deer onld enough with enough big horns to know they are old enough no girl deer allowed they dont have horns it is illgal to shoot those or bucks with not enough antler point s or you will get busted by the game warden often checking even all the trucks leaving the dirt off road trails 4x4 trucks but the sad part I remember hearing . PETA filed a lawsuit to stop it and a halt on it caused a tragedy the deer already taken in season with the proper tags paid for for donation the court put a hold on it and the ones cleaned and buthered or not in storage to give where there ordered not to do anything with thhem and so they rotted WTF PETA of ^*it those deer were hunted for good cause where there were enough of them to sell expensive tags and the y were bought for a good cause I am sure those who bought these tags not alowed to take the game they spent their time from work making money to frive far then off road a medium or long range . Off road is not cheap its harsh and ruff with surprises you must upgrade your vehicle alot and do alot of workwith blood sweat and tears or be rich to pay for that Even I do not go out hunting for deer much at all anymore living here they are now much further away. I still like off road a lot and Baja to surf I built a fullsize Bronco I bought used and in my gradge turned it into a 4 wheel drive prerunner style long travel suspention with posision sensative amd controled recoil bi pass resivoir dampeners and gusseting and plating and mi=ore for strength I am proud and happy how it does off road. Not enough to enter a race but for what I do I can nt complain Since I did some hard work for upgrades somr hard earned money giving people a lift on elevators and escalators too installing and repairing them is no easy task mine was a bit harder to so well when I started was a bt or more work no sitting position to do it and push and hoist wit hand powered hoists a huge escalater with alot already in or a bigger one in sections for us to do that . Then thrown into the fire so to speak new equiptment tech first one to install and made foreman of the Disney Concert Hall a flagahip job always had a pusher or out of state formsn in charge I asked told them I dont think I would jump in linr The steel looked like the frame of a big cargo ship dropped from so high it might be close to space tge Iron Workers that did this had alot on their plate . Installing new ones and raising others up higher was more heavy work and technical stuff including noise supresion and aalots of harsh rules ones so over the top if i followed them the way they were I would be fired for sure . I had to keep it all very safe Osha aproved etc.. i know and in addition the contractor had new crazy rules and I had to make reports of everything we were to do for each of us doing the work and there wer not very many for the job like this When I told them a job this crazy and big I would not ask for it but if sent to do it I would do my best. Thats all I can do it waS SO HARD FOR ALOT OF IT ME AND MY HELPER HAPPY WAS GOOD SIZE AND STRONG WERE ABLE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN BUT IT WAS SO HARD WITH CRAZY RULES WE CALLED IT NOT THE CONCERT HALL WE CALLED IT CONCERT HELL! hAPPY I HAVE PRIDE I /WE GOY IT DONE SND PAST INSPECTION FOR THE BANDS AND FANS AND THE FANS TO ENJOY IT AND ITS OUTSIDE EVEN TO MAKE IT LOOK SO GREAT MADE IT SO HARD TO DO OUR WORK i LEARNED A LOT AND GAINED SOME NEEDED SKILL WITH SOME TIME AND SOME VALUBLE INFORMATON FROM MY FRIEND A GREAT MECHANIC AND WEILDER AND MEMBERS OF FSB FORUM GOD BLESS THEM ALL AND THOSE GREAT PROFESIONALS WITH GREAT SKILLS TO DO THE THINGS i REBUILT MY TRANFER CASE WELL FINDING SOME PARTS I COULD AFFORD NOT SOLD TO THE PUBLIC UNLESS FIRST TO THE ONES LICENED AND CHOSEN THAT MARK THEM UP TO A ORICE i WOULD NOT SPEND UNLESS I HAD TO KEEP IT GOING i BDONT NEED 4 WHEEL DRIVE AS MUCH AS USED TOO WITH GEARS & LOCKERS AND LONG WHEELN TRAVEL SUSPENTION NOT THE MOST EXPENSIVE SHOCKS BUT IN MY OPINION THE BEST& MUST THANK THE BEST I COULD TO GIVE ME PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION NOT BUILDING A tROPHY TRUCK i AM NOT A WELL SPONSORED RACE TEAM jUST A GUY WITHSOME HARD EARNED SKILL GOD HELPS YHOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES NOT STEALING BUT A LOT OF TIME SPENT LEARNIN MECHANICAK SKILLS i MUST GIVE MY DAD THANKS NOT FOR THE HARSH BELT SPNKINGS BUT THAT HAD TO HELP TO LEARN TO DEFEND MYSELF WITH MY FISTS AND SAFE LY WITH MARKSMAN SHIP
