Been listening to Lemmy since I first heard them back in 76. Time catches up to quicker when you smoke and drink mass quantities of JD. God bless Lemmy for sticking to his guns and never wavering. He is true and honest and that's what we all truly see in him. Keep having fun Lemmy as long as you can. Havent seen you since 1980 at the concert hall in TO.

The biggest flaw of Creation is that God didn't give eternal (well, at least longer) life to some particular samples. Watching this, I come to tears. Lemmy is almost 70...and as sure as tomorrow's sunrise, we're going to lose Him some day... So I send my message to all Englanders: find him a substitute, do please! The greatest rock-musicians were born on your Island; so there shuold be someplace, somewhere, wherever (even in a small village) a being that would be able to continue this great thing, called MOTORHEAD. I can't do this myself, for I'm a Bulgarian, 52 of age, a very lousy bass player and singer. But in Albion - another Lemmy toddles somewhere; so please, find him, and bring him out; do it in the name of rock'n'roll - please, all Englanders!!!

They have significantly slowed down the tempo, but Lemmy is in fact still singing the songs on key. Hetfield, Mustaine, and Araya play their old songs at full speed, but even tuning down a half step their voices sound completely shot. Lemmy still has that classic growl that no one can replicate.

I gotta give Lemmy credit for hanging in despite his serious health issues, which DO seriously affect his performance and demeanor. Lemmy's' appearance is reminiscent of my Dad's last days suffering from cancer so this is familiar territory for me. He said once that he'll play til he drops dead...jokingly maybe even on stage. This is his life; he doesn't know anything else since he's been in the music business since age 16 and he keep playing as long as people keep coming to shows. I see some parallels with another kindred spirit "man in black" Johnny Cash who enjoyed a bit of a renaissance in his declining years, recording right to the end. Enjoy these artists while they are with us; there are few if any following to fill their shoes.

Compare this 2014 Wacken concert of them with the one from 2006 (on right side). Lemmy sounds, looks and moves like a completely different man. Gone is the energy, the power. He stays exactly in the same place here and is struggling to keep up. In 2006 he was walking around, had a ton of power in his voice and looked about 25-30 years younger. Sad.
