That's a useful step up from the VW transporter type, with lots of space and the crucial (for me!) toilet. I'd have the auto box, as i'm not a fan of the constant gear changing needed on our congested roads. Super swift and excellent tour, as always.

We have a 610 Sport and love it. Big enough for a week away but small enough for a day out. We remove the far end cushion during the day and use the space as a small table, you can also use the table outside and as for all campers you have to be ingenious with storage!

That’s awesome, there’s little not to like about this one. My only complaint is it’s not for 4 people but in all honesty it’s a great vehicle, perfect for a weekend or week away. Great video as ever.

Very nice for the money. Yes, it has one or two compromises due to the size of the vehicle, but this is a superb bit of kit for one or two people who want to get away from it all for a week.

Still putting the shower door on from the wrong side after all these years. Getting out and going to the back to dress is a bit exposed. Closing the rear blinds is quick, the windscreen and side windows are more of a faff.

Just picking up a new 73 plate in new year. Its a 670s with pano roof and 9 speed auto. Iprefer the barn doors and being able to open up the back.

It would need a higher roof. Agree about pricing, but they have all gone a bit silly over the last few years. The Expedition is much better value IMHO.

Two apparent problems with this van. Basically all your work surface is that folding section and with it in the raised position it looks nearly impossible to get in or out the door. What it really needs though is a descending bed in that aft section - for that price I'd expect one.

You can get in and out the van with it raised unless you are a large person but the work surface is not bad for a 6mtr van. With all leisure vehicles there are compromises.. I guess.

Yep, the half length one as per the cheaper Expedition allows the slimmer camper to get out, and that's surprisingly often a benefit (else getting out the front or back is a bit of a faff). There's another thing. The long surface has a lot of leverage against the supports. Careful how you chops the veg.... those screws are only in mdf.

I'd say the bigger issue is that it's black, that's going to be a greenhouse in even mild sunlight. Made the mistake of having a dark blue van over silver before. It's always roasting inside, on a bright summer's day the inner walls get hot even through the insulation, and the outside is red hot.

@@ElMuelio Autotrail took the Henry Ford approach to cosmetics with the '21 Expedition ,so mine is black ,and what you say is true. However I take it as a big hint the weather is good and I should be outside - so it doesn't really bother me as much as it should.

Nice video but you didn’t cover the external access to the side locker and the boot! Pretty significant features of the Sport range.

Further to my last comment, apologies, there is no external access to the side locker. This storage is accessed via lifting the lounge seats. There is however an excellent “boot” with a hatch that even allows the loading of long items through into the main body of the vehicle. The boot lid also used to contain storage for deck chairs & levelling wedges etc. Would have been nice to see it.

Hi Nick, any chance of showing how long the beds are (transverse or longitudinal too)? Very few reviewers ever bother with this but it's so important. Ideally you'd lie down on the bed to show how well a 6'+ person fits on it. Best wishes, Trev

Hi nick great video. But how can they call it a sport I will never know. It's a converted van. So unless it's got a V10 engine in the back. I wouldn't call it a sport. Just because of the paint job and wheels. All done to get extra money out of you.

@@Ex-Pear-Rocker It would flood the shower tray; not a huge problem. But in truth the biggest issue is that the flip up is a bit flimsy. However bearing in mind this is the 2nd sink in a 6m van I think it's a reasonable compromise for off site use.

It has some nice aspects to it, but for me it would be impractical. Where do you put your cutlery, crockery and food in the kitchen area? The sink is too large for the small space and there's barely any kitchen storage at all.

It's interesting that the unit is a few inches lower than '21, and thus they've lost the cutlery drawer. Backwards step. Adding a microwave has also reduced storage.

I think they missed something with the rear-opening, to enable a more open space to the exterior (and nature if lucky). Given you have no real space to store a lot of exterior gears, it's already cramped, then someone has to consider usage with open doors.

I think the extra 20k over the expedition is hard to justify. Sure there a few bits and pieces but I suspect the margin at the top of the range is the biggest difference.
