What is a good weight to sail a Moth?. I'm 175lbs is that to heavy?

No, it isn't. Everybody between 65kg to 85 kg can be 100% competitive. Nowadays builders produce mast of various stiffness and foils of different sizes, so you can have a boat suited for each weight. In 2013, the worlds were pretty light and were won by Bora Gulari, who is definitely over 80.
