i always found it interesting how there are almost no human enemies (save for masked man, pigmasks, porky, maybe fassad) compared to earthbound

Fun fact: The Tiny Forest is an unused enemy who attacks normally, and it's the 4th regular enemy with most HP at 1680! There’s also the Alkaline Man, which is unused as well and has 5000 HP, but does not attack normally. BTW, can you repost your EarthBound / Mother 3 music casting enemies video and the one with Mother 3 enemies and EarthBound music? Those were my favorite videos!

I think it's something with the way the game tallies damage, such that eventually the variable that contains how much damage you've dealt to the enemy becomes too big and overflows or something. The devs likely encountered this bug when trying to use PK Ground against the statue, hence why he's immune to it. Notably, the New Year's Eve bomb seems to skip traditional damage calculations and just directly sets enemy HP to 1, hence why it works even though Ground doesn't.

The natural killer cyborg's HP is 7528 PK ground can at most, deal 62.5% damage to a single enemy (Hitting the 12.5% roll 5 times) That damage is 4705, which is the highest damage someone can deal to a single enemy in a single move from what I know (absolutely safe capsule and king statue are immune)
