It's unfortunate that Mother 3 flew kinda under the radar for a lot of folks because it's honestly one of my favorite games and has an incredible soundtrack. Found this on Songsterr while looking for Mother 3 songs play on bass (particularly Mom's Hometown). This medley gave me more than I could have ever asked for. There are so many different bass lines here and they're all so much fun to play. Finding out I can play with an actual recording of the song has made it even better. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this medley! It sounds amazing and really captures the feel of Mother 3.

I feel horrible that I have never played any of the Mother games so I don't have any recollection of any of the songs. This is a pleasure to listen to regardless of knowing the source material prior to watching this video. Brilliant work guys, you're one of my absolute favourite VGM cover artists on KZbin. Fantastic mix as always, I'm also impressed that you have the discipline to finish huge projects like this! :) I suppose the only qritique I can come up with is that the drums sound pretty noticeably fake sample-wise. Of course it's cool this way too, it sounds more like an old game if that's what you're going for!

Thanks, I'm glad you like the mix :D it was definitely the hardest part of putting this project together, making sure it stayed balanced and all. Yeah, you're right, and it's not really a creative choice, to be honest, it's just that I'm a massive cheapskate so I'd rather use free online samples in a free sampling VST than pay money for something like Superior Drummer ^^' I'm all for putting as much effort and work into these covers as possible but I draw the line at spending lots of money really :/

I feel you, I don't want to pay for anything unless I absolutely have to. ^^ I'd recommend the demo of Addictive drums, it's got great sounding kick, snare, hihat and crash samples, plus it's got unlimited usage. I use that and add toms and extra cymbals with free samples on separate tracks. :)

Your stuff is quite polished (especially as your mixing has gotten better, the playing skills seemed to mostly be there from the top), but the main drive is you guys have very unique arrangements. In an internet full of Metal remixes, you guys bring out a lot of different styles into the tunes and use the original feel while making it full and awesome. That's why I'd be willing to pay.
