Mother and Daughter reunited.

A mother and daughter who passed 42 years apart have a very unique and combined tombstone. The little girl, Jacqueline Leigh Farmer tragically passed in 1972 and until 2014 had her own ground level headstone. After her mother, Mary Gagliano Farmer, passed they must have raised Jacqueline’s and had it placed on top of her mother’s reuniting them again at last. This one was an absolute honor to clean for them.

This is a burial urn vault below the daughter’s headstone, for the mother. This would keep them together forever and it is beautiful. I think it is beautiful and very telling how closely she kept her daughter to her heart all the days of her life.

Seeing this one really was special to me. Yeah, before her mother passed, this little girls was just her small stone at ground level….so to see what plans her mother had when it was her time was so sweet to me. There is another video we have of The Parras. The little girl passed away and when her father did, they leaned his headstone against the feet of her angel. When I realized what it was it really got me. Normally this hobby of mine doesn’t get me, but that one did. Especially since the little girls was Ronin’s age when she passed.

I’ve never seen a stacked stone like that either. It’s very interesting. The little girl’s stone is a very common design. But the one at the bottom is not. I love any stones that have the cameo on it. It touches my heart in someway.

The photos of those that have died make it more personal for me. This little girl, Jacqueline, was such an adorable little girl and shared her name with my own mother.

How many have you done so far? You are killing it! You’re making a huge impact in that cemetery by cleaning stones.

I haven’t really counted honestly. They all turned out great. It has to be well over 100 by now adding all of the vets and kids graves together in various cemeteries. Ronin leaves for a cruise tomorrow, so I’ll have a lot of time off work for the holidays, so I plan to really get rolling on these.

Wow! I have never seen a headstone like that in my life. It's intriguing and sweet all at the same time. Again, thank you for making these headstones look beautiful. This one touched my heart, maybe because of the pictures and we can actually see who they were. P.S. Please tell Ronin to have a great time on the cruise!

I was watching a video here on KZbin where the guy toured an old Italian Cemetery in the Chicago are I think. They all had photo cameos. He came to one in particular and my jaw dropped. It was a girl who passed in 1927. She was my doppelgänger! I showed the photo to my mom without telling her anything and she thought it was me! It was very strange.

Initially the little girls was a basic ground level marker. I’m assuming it was her mother’s wishes to be buried or at least her headstone to be together forever. I think it’s beautiful.
