@rachelallen88534 жыл бұрын
While I was a clerk at the court, the best thing and most fulfilling thing I ever did was prepare the death warrant after the judge signed the order of execution. In this case, the victim was an elderly lady who, like Aniya, was helpless. She came home to find her house being robbed by 4 young people. They stole her car and put her in the trunk of it. They showed her off to several people none of which called the police. They'd take her out and beat her with a shovel. This retired teacher and church organist was covered with blankets after 3 or 4 days of torture and was thrown into an ice cold river with cinder blocks to weigh her down and she drowned. They didn't feed her and I don't think potty breaks were a high priority. Did I mention she was an insulin dependent diabetic? The worst of all was that only the oldest was eligible for the death penalty and life w/o parole wasn't an option in Texas at that time. You have to be at least 16 to get the death penalty. The girl turned state's evidence and got off with a lighter sentence. The 15 y/o was the scariest of the lot. I read some of his jail letters and he definitely had a blood lust. The youngest was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Depositions showed that he wasn't ok with what happened and wanted no part of it. He was 13 and was sent to juvie until he turns 18. Then he'll be released. It's the weakest in society, the children and seniors, that they hurt the most. I just can't fathom doing any of those things to people even the ones I strongly dislike. Our world is crazy in that people like these kids and monster mommy and beastly boyfriend are somehow here and able inflict their poisonous wrath on people. It makes me sad for our world.

Now, if given the chance to go back, would he choose to have never met the mother to spare that baby the suffering, I am certain he would have, but as a parent, I am unable to wish for anything that would've prevented the birth of my children, but I've never lost a child, neither. It would be interesting to hear the father's perspective on this.

Question, where was he at when all the abuse was taking place? Does anyone know?
Jus- Sayin - the location of some commenter’s “biological father,” has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Read the link I provided above. He did what the law allowed. Who thinks a mom is going to kill their own child? He had everything going against him. Black, young, male, dad. Any other time, people would say the dad was simply a sperm donor. At least he tried. Give this father a break. I witnessed something similar at 19 - 20. I didn’t know better. I heard the parents were barely in their 20’s as well. If I had known better, I would have taken this child away from his mom, and reported her, and I was just the babysitter!! When he died, my mom asked if I thought she could have done it, and I couldn’t even allow myself to go there, because this boy was a part of my life for nearly two years. We never want to believe that a child should feel threatened by a parent - mom OR dad! This boy died at 35 months. He’d be 30 next February. For all we know, the father was working so mom could smoke weed and not have to work. You don’t know the circumstances, other than what has been made public, unless you are family, or close. There are too many possibilities to start pointing fingers. The courts have almost exclusively sided with mothers in cases like these. It’s time to step out of what we think we know is right, and see what is right. Remember to think before you speak. You do not know what a person’s experiences are, what they have gone thru, or what they are currently going thru. It’s taken me over 40 years to watch mine tongue before I say something hurtful. Good luck, stay safe & healthy. ✌️

plateshutoverlock ~vI had a live in boyfriend/fiancé. This man treated my son 100 times better than his biological father ever did. His b-father never abused him in any way, he was just hardly ever present in his life. He only wanted my sin around when it was time to impress a new girl or her parents. He rarely paid child support, birthday gifts, Christmas gifts...almost non-existent. My live in France made sure, along with me, that my son never went without what he needed and rarely went without what he wanted. My son had major MAJOR surgery at the age of 15. The hospital he was in, was four hours away from where his father lived...he never even sent a get well card. By that time, I was married and my husband drive us to the hospital, stayed for the entire 11 hour surgery, visited the next day and stayed...went home the next day. Called every day, several times a day, during the full two weeks that my son was in the hospital. He came the day before my son was set to go home, picked us up and drive us home the next day. He made sure that our home had everything necessary for our son to recuperate. 25 years later, I’m still married to that man. We watched our son get his first job at 16, graduate, get involved in a charity close to his heart...he’s held down a job since the age of 16 and he’s been with his company for over 20 years now. My husband has been by my side, encouraging him, supporting him, guiding him and helping to make him the wonderful, responsible adult he is today. Oh, he has NOTHING to do with his b-father and hadn’t for many years. His two half brothers also have nothing to do with this man. He’s been married two more times after me. My son is in contact with the woman who was his first step-mother, to this day. She treated him better than his father ever did. He never really got to know his second step-mother. Not all live in boyfriends or girlfriends for that matter, are bad people! Many are loving caring step-parents, better than b-parents. ✌️

Yes many are abused by not only live-in boyfriends but step-father’s as well. Married or live-in doesn’t save a child from horrible people. No one knows what happens behind closed doors. Child protective services is equally culpable!

@cockney gyal Is it children screaming due to pain? If you feel a child is being assaulted call the police. I’ve been in similar situation. However, I was retaliated against but it was a situation where the person’s life was in danger.

The size of that man compared to that baby girl, breaks my heart. How can anybody lay there hands on a child I will never know. Children are supposed to be the light of your lives, a mothers love is meant to be the strongest kind of love. I will hold my babies so close tonight after watching this.

Such a heart felt closing statement! Poor little angel suffered 2 strokes and no amounts of abuse, how can any human cause such cruel act on an innocent child of any age! And how any family or friends could turn a blind eye to such torture. Some humans don't deserve to be blessed with a child, when so many can't conceive a child. Rest in peace darling angel ❤
