This gets dark. Male bears in some species kill the cubs so he can mate with the female and spread his own genes
@Kalletheswede5 жыл бұрын
I live in Sweden and I've seen corpses from cubs in our village. Bitten and destroyed by a male. So the male can mate again and spread his own genes.
@Kalletheswede5 жыл бұрын
@@stonksgains7175 Better to be 100 percent sure when it comes to mating than risk, not mating at all. There is like a 25 percent chance he will meet the same female cubs again when they are adults. Plus her male cubs will increase competition for food in the Forrest and competition for females. The female will be willing to mate again directly after he kills her children. He will also never hurt his own children just other male bears children.

Anubis a subspecies it basically the difference between a African elephant and Indian elephant
@scottlepak70684 жыл бұрын
@@queeneon Actually no, African elephants and Asian elephants are not only totally different species, they are in different genera. There are actually two different species of African elephant, both currently placed in the genus Loxodonta, the bush elephant (Loxodonta africana) and the forest elephant (Loxodonta cyclotis). The Asian elephant on the other hand is classified as Elephas maximus and has multiple subspecies such as the Indian elephant (E. m. indicus) and the Sri Lankan Elephant (E. m. maximus). Furthermore, the white bears are not even their own subspecies. ALL of the bears in this video (including the black cubs) are Kermode bears (Ursus americanus kermodei) which are a subspecies of American black bear (Ursus americanus) that lives in the Central and North Coast regions of British Columbia, Canada. The Ghost bears, or Spirit bears, are simply a rare color morph of the Kermode.
