I am so happy about these results. This is a case where I believe both women will attempt to get along with one another. The grandmother has a great sense of humor and I believe she will love those children with all her heart. Even if the results were different, she seems like a person who would still love both of the children. You can still love people just as much or more regardless of biological results. We all need love and to be loved.

carultch I believe that weird number is because they were testing the grandmother because they couldn't test the father. That's why they tested the children to see if they were full or half siblings. Amazing what they can do with these tests huh.

Cindy Duran I'm an avid viewer of these shows and they test grandparents often and I've never heard anything other than 99%. I remember because they say there is no blood card available so they test the grands.

Maybe one explanation is that the grandmother is a chimera unbeknownst to her, and technically her phantom sister is the genetic mother of her son. Her eggs would have DNA that doesn't match her saliva or blood. Except that would not explain the 99% result on one child and a 64% result on the other child, if both children are full siblings. That would explain a mid-percentage result on both children.

carultch it’s just a fluke... the daughter was determined to belong to that man so they tested her DNA to the brother and there was a 99% chance that they shared the same biological parents on both sides. It’s not always black and white when they’re comparing the DNA of the grandparent and not the father but if it wasn’t his son, he wouldn’t have shared the same DNA as his sister.
