I watched documentary weeks ago and there was a scene that baby seal was left on ice while mother seal was finding food for her baby. But the baby was found by polar bear. It was so heartbreaking to see when mother seal came back to look for her baby. :( The baby seal should have been hiding behind ice or something but because of global warming they're no longer able to do that. All people should start to save our Earth. :(

What nonsense! Global warming! Lol! The seal pup is too small to move around quickly and respond to threats. There is nothing it can do to hide from polar bears. Polar bears also have very sharp sense of smell, making it impossible to hide

To get laid. In all seriousness after a little under two weeks the mamas leave the babies, who over the next 6 ish weeks will use their fat stores and molt into adult fur. But yes the moms go immediately mate with males after leaving their pups the last time
