Oh my God I haven't listened to Mother Mother in a while because I felt like I enjoyed older Mother Mother songs more. Not hating, I just preferred songs like Oh My Heart and Verbatim. I don't know if the band understands how breathtaking this song is. I first listened to this song when the album dropped I had to take a second after it ended because, it hit me like a train. Molly's vocals, the orchestration and the intense vaugity which is hiddien within the lyrics of the song causes it to be, in my opinion, one of their if not thier best song to date. This is a number that I just know is not going to get old and I will never ever stop relating, understanding, or wanting to listen to this song. What do I do if forever isn't true?

This is definitely one of my favorite tracks of theirs to date, it captures that grief of wanting to keep the here and now forever soo well, it's like the lyrics know that it will not be like this forever already but desperately wants to reach for every last out just for a chance for finding forever, instead of keeping the infinite possibilities of life open. That's my incomplete interpretation, there's a ton of depth to this song.

Ever since I met molly and Ryan and everyone else in the band on June 29th, 2024, I have felt a sense of life come to me. My grandfather passed the day before the concert, his decline was sudden, and I didn't get a chance to have a final goodbye. This song I had been listening to repeat already but man, this whole album came into my life at the perfect time. Thank you for listening to my question, and even dedicating my concert experience to my grandfather, with sleep awake as a dedication. You have no idea how much I felt his presence that day. He was 100, and I will forever miss his laugh, his stern look, and his hard working attitude he had till the end. I love you abuelo, I'll miss you so much, te quiero mucho ❤️‍🩹

This entire album reminds me of old old mother mother. my fav album is and has always been The Sticks. This song feels on par to songs like The Cry Forum to me. I love this entire album so much.
