This video is so wholesome. It's not *_just_* a cover, it's a look back at all the fun memories that came from Korone's MOTHER streams - Specifically, MOTHER 2. The animation is nice, Korone's sprite work looks amazing and so is her singing voice. It's rare for the Holo JP girls to cover English songs.

SF6のCRカップからころねさんを知ったにわかもにわかなのですが、MOTHERシリーズが好きで過去のシリーズ実況や最近のMOTHER3実況も拝見させていただいてました。特にMOTHER2はRPGの中でも間違いなく一番プレイしている作品で、まさかこんな形でMOTHER2のみんなの姿をまた見られるなんてと思わず感動して涙してしまいました。 POLLYANNAも本当にいい曲ですよね。ころねさんの歌声も素敵でした。素敵な動画をありがとうございます。

大学生のころこのゲームに出会いました。自分に子供が生まれたら、こんな子たちになってほしいなって思いました。結婚して子供が生まれて、娘が小学生のころスーファミでこのゲームを見せたら、すっかりはまってしまい、カセットのデータが消えないように隠すくらいでした。今年娘はゲーム制作会社に就職しました。どこかに MOTHER2 の思い出を残して、ゲーム制作に携わってくれていたら嬉しいです。

This is my favorite cover now. Korone did such an amazing job. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about how much Korone loves this song and MOTHER.

I didn't even know Pollyanna had lyrics. The only MOTHER song with lyrics I know is the 8 Melodies from the original MOTHER game.

@@Dorian_Scott yeah! they released a CD way back in the 80s with the vocal versions. A lot of people didn't know until Korone sang it in karaoke back in 2020

I gotta say, I love this. I played Earthbound a ton as a kid. From beginning to end it felt like something that could happen to me and my friends. An adventure, small at first but growing. Now I'm an adult. Married and much older now. Yet my wife and I enjoy watching hololivers. I was shocked to see this video. It brought back some fun memories and a laugh or two. All I can say is "Fuzzy Pickles!"

I've been near my limit. I can't find work, and I got scammed twice in the process of trying. It's looking like I'm going to lose my home. Everything I ever worked for is under threat, even my marriage. Hearing Korone say 'I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you' was just what I needed. This will play in my head with every application I write now.

ころさんの家が配信待機画面のあの部屋だったり、サターンバレーでは字幕がどせいさん文字になったり、No.3だったり、スロットの神回もあったり、1と3仕様のころさんも居たり、魔境では沼に沈んだり、仲間が倒れたらウインドウも赤くなったり、おかみおも祈ってくれたり、俺らの居場所があのボロ別荘だったり、愛に溢れたPVでした 2年前にMOTHER2を「実機で」プレイしている猛者Vtuberが居ると聞いて、初めてVtuberを見出した者ですがころさんと出会えて本当に良かったです。お誕生日おめでとうございました

I’m not sure if she’s doing this on purpose, but she ends so many verses with an uptone in pitch, and I can only imagine that she’s just so happy to be recording this song that she’s smiling with her whole heart that it picked up the enthusiasm she had while making it.

Those are vocal cries and they're common in music generally, both intentionally and unintentionally. The style of vocal cry in this song is essentially a standard in the Idol genre of music, which is typically upbeat and overflowing with positivity and cuteness. Look at the Ochame Kinou covers by Hololive talents for good examples.

エイトメロディーズと並んで、やっぱMOTHERシリーズと云えばこの曲だよなぁ！という名曲。実はCD以外で歌付きを聴ける場は先ず無いので、そもそも各曲に歌詞があること自体知っている人は少ないと思う。だから選曲の時点で凄く愛が伝わってきた。歌ってくれてすごく嬉しい。ありがとうころさん。

Seeing this pop up, I got so excited as, despite never beating any of the Mother series’ games, the music, specifically Pollyanna, Bein’ Friends and Eight Melodies have been some of my favorites. Used to listen to this song all the time over a decade ago, and getting this blast from the past, along with the amazing video got me a bit emotional. Couldn’t help but tear up a little bit towards the end. With this and Airman ga Taosenai, I hope Korone continues to do these fun songs with video game ties.

ころさんのゲーム愛は、ゲーマーズの名に本当にふさわしい。ころさんが将来、ソロライブなんかもやってくれるようになったら、ゲームソングDAYとかもあるといいなだいぶ前に配信でもポリアンナを歌いたいって言ってたり、歌枠で歌ったりもしてたね。やっぱり昔のゲームって権利関係をクリアにするのも大変なんだと思うけど、こうやってここに歌ってみたとして公開できているってことは、いろんな関係者の方々の協力がたくさんあったんだろうなと思う。そのことには、ころねすきーとしても本当に感謝したい。そして何より、ころさん自身の愛と諦めない心があるからこそ、全てが実現したと確信してる。ころさん、俺誇らしいよ！お誕生日おめでとう

I'm crying. Earthbound was a very impactful game in my childhood. Yes, I'm that old, I played it on the SNES when it was first released. Earthbound has a lot of positive memories for me. I've gone back to it many times, especially when life gets tough. This song was absolutely amazing on multiple levels. Long live Korone-chan!
