I loved your reaction to Emma's 'Voila' and again to this. You mentioned Emma's jewelery. This set, comprising a double banded ring, necklace, stud earrings and pendant earrings was a gift to Emma from Andre Rieu to mark the occasion of her first singing this song back in July. The set is solid gold with 244 diamonds in total and was made by the same jeweler that made Andre's gold, diamond and pearl brooch that he wears in his necktie.

Thank you Roger! It's lovely that our audience enjoy Emma as much as we do but it is extra refreshing to know that you really listened to what we had to say too and responded to us about the beautiful jewellery. 😊

Thanks for playing Dancing on the Stars fantastic! I love Emma! She’s an inspiration to all ! You missed a most important part . Emma’s personal introduction and thanks to Andre and orchestra, the composer, and the audience for making her feel free. Singing is her escape from her gastroparesis. if you want to know more about her check out interview (Imagine song on Carrie Oct 25th this year) about how she deals with her condition. The fact that she did 90 concerts (15-16 yrs old) with Andre this year around the world simply Amazing!! She has over 100 million views in just a year. Recordings on apple music etc. Thanks again for playing her music. There is more.

At the start of this video (you did not show that) André Rieu introduced Emma and Emma introduced the song. Seeing a now 16 year old speaking in public without any fear in front of a 12,500 audience to me is as impresive as the song itself. So, people: watch the orginal video as well, because it is actually part of the song in my view. André Rieu is such a special human being. He and his orchestra are as touched as we are about her story and she lives not far away from him. In 2024 he decided to take Emma under his wings, learn her how to sing even better and how to perform. Since then she is on tour with him and his orchestra where ever they go. Emma has permision to follow school on-line (which is very rare in the Netherlands) and members in the orchestra are helping her when she runs into problems with that. Her mother is always with her (including on tour) to give Emma the support and extra care she need. Thanks to André Rieu, Emma will have her own concert on October 21, 2025, in the Royal Concert hall in Amsterdam. Within 3 hours(!) after Emma made the announcement on our national tv it was sold out.. I can recomment you to watch other songs Emma has performed as well: she sings since she was 11 years of age and most of the videos made of that are live performances. When she was 12 (when almost no one had ever heard of her) Emma performed a wonderful rendition of "Opportunaty"(SIA) during a benefit concert her brother Enzo had initiated. Images are not so good, sound is absolutely o.k. When you think Emma is small and tiny now, watch that one... No tricks what so ever to make it sound extra perfect and that is Emma's gift: she is an incredible live-performer and she tells the story of the songs when she sings. It is not "just singing a nice song", but much more then that. Emma's most recent songs are: a Disney medley and "Imagine"(John Lennon). Emma knocks both songs completely out of the park, very impressive stuff to watch.

I have listened to them all and she is indeed impressive if not magical. She has a special gift that only she can deliver and people around the world are listening. In my opinion she is the best young singer in the world and note that her singing also has a spiritual component! She is a living angel and we are all blesses to have her singing to the world!

Dear Ladies, Too bad you didn't show the introduction of Andre and Emma herself. Then you would have known that Emma is on a tour around the World with Andre..... The song Dancing on the stars was written by one of the best writers/composers Tjeerd Oosterhuis who has already written two other songs for Emma. ''It's good to live'' this text that appears a few times, is a life motto of Emma. Especially since 5 days before these 12 concerts and before recording this video Emma had to undergo a painful procedure, something that has to be done every 3 to 4 months, Renewing the access tubes to her stomach and intestines. Something that is normally done under anesthesia but Emma doesn't want the latter, because the tube in her throat during anesthesia can damage her vocal cords. It's good to live... cheers.

Thank you reaction , we went to the concert of Andre Rieu at Maastricht , right in front of the stage at about 35 meters distance. Just as Emma started singing, an emotional bomb exploded in the square with the song DANCING ON THE STARTS and afterwards VOILA which earned a standing ovation for several minutes. Her beautiful voice touches your soul with the support of the orchestra, an evening to remember for a livetime. . I can only agree with this, too much talk at the beginning but the most important things left out at the start, what a pity. No streamer cuts that out.

Emma Kok is just an example of some of the youth we are lucky enough to be part of their growth. Emma's voice caught me off guard. I'm not the biggest fan of singers. There are so many, and too many sound the same. You get these young girls like Emma who has a certain tone and feel to their voice, it's different, it's fresh... it's breathtakingly beautiful and refreshing. I follow few singers, I'm not good with lyrics and like I said, they all sound alike... My number one singer, you should check her out. She is the definition of artist. She won AGT in 2016 when she was 12. She won by performing all original songs. She wrote them all. She won the whole season earning herself a record deal and subsequently, a modeling contract, and she has scored three movie roles. She is a powerhouse of vocals as the rasp and imperfections her voice carries only prove warm the vocals causing chills to traverse your spine. She wrote this song when she was 13 in 30 minutes... 13... toss that around in your head while you listen to this prodigy perform a song she has no right at 13 to be able to write, let alone convey the emotions required to make this song reach the depths of a humans soul. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lavWimmPe6upkK8&pp=ygUqZ3JhY2UgdmFuZGVyd2FhbCBkYXJrbmVzcyBrZWVwcyBjaGFzaW5nIG1l

You loved Emma dancing on the Stars. But have you listened to Il Silensio. 13 year old girl silences, brings to tears, almost 13,000 people. She and Andre Reu's fabulous orchestra in Maastricht. Its a thing of very great beauty. I'd love to hear your reaction. Mike.

There is just something about the quality of her voice. Add in the musical skills and the good looks and her career is assured. Sorry to scupper you but Posh is not from "Port Out, Starboard Home", It predates the replacement of Larboard with Port. However, you are correct, there are so many nautical references in English usage.
@waynemeredith4287Ай бұрын
When Emma sings this performance it’s a very emotional presentation. By my estimate the emotional impact of this performance goes to the song it’s self about 70% and the other 30% goes to the introduction by Andre and Emma however you choose to leave that out? So disappointing.
@JaapFiliusАй бұрын
There are more reactors doing that, but most of them are telling about it any way, or they make the advice to watch the orginal video as well. But this time? Nothing and I agree fully with you, it is a complete packet. As André Rieu has put it in a interview in the past: a good connecting introduction is as important as the song itself.

Just a couple of things: " Thanksgiving" in the USA, is always on the last ( THURSDAY )of November! The beginning of this piece is as important..as the song..itself!! And before Emma sang it..[ no one] had!! The composer had it aside, for the correct talent, to debut it!! From 20 years ago...4 years before Emma was born!! ....> Do have a good evening...!!

Don't let the American's sound innocent. The first Thanksgiving wasn't cookies and cream. The native tribe was responding to the locals firing their guns in the air because they had a treaty to protect them. They showed up to defend them and it was all "oh we are just celebrating the harvest". Seriously. So then they asked them to join them in "Thanksgiving". Truth, much love and keep on keepin on J.

You guys that complain. Do you really need to see the first part where she and andre is talking? Have you not seen it many times before? Maybe they already seen it and therefor did not put it in their reaction? They do what they want to do. Explain but not complain! Its not so nice to sit behind a computer screen and complain om the reactors! Just sit back and enjoy and omce again stop to complain
