This band were so good live, unfortunately they never had the breaks that they so richly deserved,.

Thanks to my mom I been a fan my whole life (since the early 80s) and finally got to see them live a few years ago and even with some of the members in their 70s they still put on a SUPER energetic show!!

MF rocked in the 70s. Saw them live several times and it was always a wild show. That song came out in 1992.

Real happy Mother's Finest were so loved in some good music tastes world places. To say the truth, I'm astounded. Love this band as two-tone heavy metal unit. Nothing like them ever existed. Would love a Radio Won't Play This fkn Thing Again. MORE songs like this please. Same advice goes to Vernon Reid and Living Colour. They lost that HEAVY rhythm feeling! Cheers!

At the bottom are some of the names that gave us rock and roll and it’s offspring of genres. Their skin color happens to be black but their hearts and souls were the same as any rocker. My dad would say “Sounds like black folks music”. And every time I’d say to myself Damn right it does. I love my rock and roll. Thank you to Chuck Berry, Rosetta Tharpe, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Bo Diddley, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix, Tina Turner, Curtis Mayfield….. and many more.

Call it Black Rock or whatever. THIS IS Heavy Metal. Deep, bass dense, powerful. Afro Americans can't rock? This is a band black loaded. I've prayed for a band like this all my life. Damn MTV! This channel did nothing. This band would had been real famous around the world. Europe would have love them as UK did with Hendrix. Churchill said: ' I choose perseverance over talent'. -- MF should persevere. talent they' ve got! MORE songs like this please. Same advice goes to Vernon Reid and Living Colour. They lost that HEAVY feeling! Cheers!

Ruben Cienfuegos Mothers finest were HUGE in Sweden in the eighties and nineties! And I agree; it´s definitely classic Heavy Metal. One of the worlds greatest singers, Baby Jane, and also one of the best bassists of all times, Wyzard, plays in Mothers Finest. It´s a shame Mothers Finest has lost their popularity, mostly among the ”kids” born in the nineties and the so called ”millennials”. I guess it´s up to us (well, I am anyway! ;-p ) ”oldies” to teach `em right...right?! :) By the way, anyone who judges someone elses music due to the colour of their skin and says they can´t play rock/metal just because they´re afro american (or any other afro + current country) should most definitely be force fed with Mothers Finest, Living Colour and Skunk Anansie, just to pick a few from the top of my head. There are LOADS of great rock and metal musicians all over the world, no matter the colour of their skin. More rock and metal to ALL the people on this planet and I bet it´d be a MUCH better place for all living beings!
