Oh man, I used to freakin' love these beers back in the day like 2011-2015 (along with Left Hand, of course). Definitely gateway stuff for me as well. Throwback to some nostalgic post-college times livin' in NYC. Sabres playing some good puck, baby! Keep it rollin'! Blueshirts, man -- idk idk not the best vibes these days. Cheers good sir

That's what I'm talking about, baby! Yeah, these two beers, but more specifically Mother's Milk, got some high praise back then. Honestly, I wasn't sure how they'd turn out, so I'm relieved they're both still tasty. The Mother's Milk has to be one of the best in the styles, IMO. As for the Sabres, they're finally figuring it out ... all without Tage lately. Kind of wild. We'll see how they do this week against the Wild. That will be a tough test. Another three games in four nights, too. I'd love 3-4 points. Just have to get all the points you can. The Rags look cooked right now. Just rough. I think a trade could shake them up. Not sure who you move or what to do, but something needs to spark 'em. Cheers, Rick!

@@averagejoe716 It was very nice to hear that both of those beers and esp. the MM are still delicious. Would always prefer the base/OG as well. I hope to see them in the wild again one of these days. Tage has been on a heater. UCONN Huskies, baby! Hope the Sabes keep the momentum goin', it's such a fickle thing but holdin' out hope for ya. And yeah sadly I think a trade is necessary to shake things up, deal Trouba, would be sad to see Kreids go but somethin's gotta change!

We need Tage back tomorrow. They said he was day-to-day and it ended up being two weeks, but better to be cautious, I guess. We did well without him. Forgot he went to UCONN, baby! I know that O'Reilly trade initially looked bad because St. Louis won the cup, but GD did we win that deal long-term, IMO. Tage is an absolute beast with a great cap number for the next five years. As for your Rags, not sure what you can do. Kreider would look great in Blue & Gold. We need a net-front presence, but I'm sure quite a few teams would be interested in him.

I doubt they'd trade him inside the division, but I could see them trading them in the conference. I'd love him on the PP and PK, no doubt.

Both those beers sound amazing. I would really like to try the coffee one. Getting strong green pepper in the nose but not on the taste is crazy.

The Mother's Milk is just so good for the style! I was blown away at the green pepper nose that didn't translate to the taste, as well. Totally expected it to be a failed experiment, but I was pleasantly surprised. Cheers again, sir!
