This is the part of motherhood that no one wants to talk about. If you have buried trauma from your past a child will strip all your defenses and force you to confront them. If you don’t then you risk passing on your trauma to your child. Everyone has their own burdens and no one has the right to judge and we shouldn’t be comparing

I like hearing this. My trauma background details are different from this woman’s but becoming a mother brought up my traumas and I had!have to figure out what I’m really teaching from a subconscious place, too. This woman’s testimony is a beautiful example of how generational trauma can also be a generational overcoming when we love truly and hold ourselves accountable for our personal psychology and healing while we’re at it. Need more stories like this.

My traumatic childhood also made it hard when I become a parent I know as a parent my number one goal was to not be one of my parents and to do everything they did the opposite.. of course I made my own mistakes but nothing on the level my parents, no my kids are parents❤
