Haha it never fails to amaze me how Eliot can just go on and on about all the characters, at length, especially Alder and all the Motherland history! The bit about Alder losing her ability to bear children when she kinda became the Protector of her kind is just brilliant. That man must have volumes and volumes of notes!

What's weird about this is that I am really rooting for Scylla even though she is the antagonist.
@BadFluffy4 жыл бұрын
But that's the beautiful thing about the show: there's no real antagonist because the writers always try to maintain a balance in the conflict and doubt and motivations of the main factions. The Spree probably started as a resistance movement against the oppression of Conscription. They've existed for 30 years, give or take and it only seems they have just recently ramped up the viciousness and the body count of their attacks. Since there are no real structure to the Spree, it can just be someone using them to exact revenge, or maybe some of the attacks are from someone else masking them as the Spree. Scylla has lived her whole life on the run. She's been recruited by the Spree for a good reason. There is no villain there. Even Alder, who created the Conscription was just trying to protect the Witches, and has spent several lifetimes doing so.

I truly despise soulless shows that exist only to exploit the current trend of featuring gay characters. This is NOT one of those shows. Two episodes in and the terrific world building, interesting characters, and intriguing STORY have me eager to see what happens next. I hope everyone involved keeps up the excellent work!

William Cordier same loving the fact no one is freaking out that she’s gay and has a gf. It’s like “yep it’s a thing” and they are excited she has a gf like if she had a bf but there’s no big deal over it.

This show has managed in two episodes to make itself very intriguing. The dialogue is a bit much at times, but the world building, the characters, and the looming threat have endless potential. Ready for more!

I love the uniqueness of the witchraft in this world. There are many things that confused me yet but that's what makes the show mysterious and not a giveaway all at once. Then about the 'song' as their power is so nice idea. I hope the idea is big and the lore is so wide that fans would be able to hold on to for many seasons.
@Lionspel4 жыл бұрын
Oh and I love the actors/characters individuality and how they are developed. Even both three have insecurities, I feel like I cannot hate them. Granted at the first 2 episodes they're fighting and making up like cats and dogs, but at the end, that's what makes their Unit stronger by knowing their strengths and weaknesses like when they open up on each other on the 1st episode. There might be so much they didn't know about the other, but hopefully in the future they'll sort it out. Their chemistry are in sync and at the same time they have 'owned' their character, it reminds me of Hermione, Harry and Ron's camaraderie.

Tally always wanted support from her mom but doesn’t understand how war can be devastating to families. It would be nice to see Raelle and Abigail try to connect with her later over their own mother issues but still have their own problems to deal with. Once that man showed his bigotry towards Tally, she was not going to have it and showed the true strength she had underneath. Fortunately, Tally has found her home with her unit and in Fort Salem🔊🌬🔮🎖🇺🇸🖤

Ok but hurting your vocal cords from singing makes more sense than becoming infertile from singing... hadn’t her family already been singing the song for generations?
@RheRheSmily4 жыл бұрын
@@jpm5042 I think not all songs are equal. Some have a higher level of difficulty thus more stress on the body. It also looks like emotions hiten the songs power so her witnessing her family dying and the danger she was in might have aplified the song and the toll on the body spreading from her vocalcords to other areas. Just as stress can lead to miscarriage sometimes. I don't know maybe 🤷🏾♀️
