Thank you very much for your response. This is a sopilka instrument. It is easily carved from wood, and in Western Ukraine it is traditionally from Kalina. And you probably forgot, but you also reacted to the Ukrainian group Jinjer with song Pisces.

I'm not sure this Carpetman is the same guy as the solo artist. I'm pretty sure there are 2 (or more) Carpetmen (Carpetmans? Carpetmeese?). There's also the Ukrainian-language project КИЛИММЕН, and so far it's always the same guy singing as Carpetman, but both of them sing as КИЛИММЕН. And I could swear in some of the Ukrainian videos it's one guy lip syncing to the other guy's vocals. It's so confusing. 😭😂

Certainly brings in the Steppes epic style of music. A little known type of music in the Western world. Digging into World Music seems to be a conscious choice to make, as "mainstream" totally ignores.
