The covid 19 without a doubt has brought a shocking change to our everyday lives. Today was mothers day, my mum rang me and said her cough is chesty and needs a syrup, luckily I had some so I put it in a bag along with some fresh ginger and a homemade soup. I walked to her house and had to hand her the bag behind the window. I stood there for a bit and watched her eat her soup and take the cough syrup. She seemed fine and she has already had her assessment by 111 doctors and they believe that she is not critically ill but as a daughter I cannot help and not worry about the wellbeing of my mum who is 69 years old. I then went for a walk with my kids and husband to the nearby hill and we enjoyed the panoramic views of Greenford. We walked back home and tried to keep ourselves busy with cooking, making lots of teas and fruits and the kids doing some homework. today we are told that death rates are 281 in UK and that the government and GPs will send out letters to all patients who are at risk to stay home and self isolate for the next three months in order to avoid deaths. we ended our day with a warm ginger and honey tea.
