Mothers in custody at Rikers get time with kids at Children's Museum of Manhattan

It's a one-of-a-kind program that allows parents in custody to spend time with their kids outside of a jail setting, CBS2's Jennifer Bisram reports.

A humane solution. Someone can serve their sentence without further traumatizing their innocent child. It’s enough of a trauma to be separated from your parent at that young age. I hope it leads to being better human beings and better parents.
