Looks good. Quite powerful. And they seem to have got the central casting right with Chastain as the de facto protagonist/audience surrogate character and Hathaway in the tragic but apparently villainous role. Also, great to see another two-hander featuring great actresses facing off against one another, after May December. We need more of those types of movies.

Watched this yesterday. It's a slow burner to begin with but don't turn it off. It's sooooo good. I'll watch anything with Jessica Chastain in it. I think Anne gives her best performance of her career so far.

This is an adaptation from the book "behind the hate " (or "derrière la haine" in french) (2012) by the belgian author Barbara Abel. It has been adapted in 2018 by the film director Olivier Masset Depasse (the movie is known as "Duelles"). I really hope that this american adaptation follows the original... Love Anne n Jessica !!!
