Code Black is actually dialog used in some hospitals for different things: examples include if a patient dies or shows up dead on arrival in the ER, an infant abduction, or in a emergency situation where the staff has reason to believe that there is a threat that may result in mass casualties as opposed to more than just one singular patient dying such as a gunman or bomb threat in the hospital

"Code Black" is often used in hospitals for when the ER is over capacity and lacking (or simply running out of) resources, and is sometimes used in official capacity to indicate a bomb threat. The changed title is simply drawing inspiration from a different, yet equally dire source.

Yeah, it's incredibly hard to "win" at translating sublime Japanese wordplay, usually just keeping some of it intact is the sign of a good translation. Code Black is about as hard to recognize for your average westerner as Black (Company), but it does at least mean this-body-is-about-to-die in English.
@notreallythere4773 жыл бұрын
@@LibertyMonk I don't know if I'd call "Cells at Work: Black" *sublime* wordplay, when you've got stuff like the works of Koji Kumeta, where every phrase has like sixteen different meanings and if you're extremely lucky an English phrase can capture *two* of them, which is precisely why Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei will never get an official localization. It's just a reference to a cultural trend that isn't referred to by the same terms in America. And of course, it cuts both ways. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead could never in a million billion years be translated into Japanese because it *also* relies on wordplay with so many alternate meanings that most are bound to be lost in translation.
@shadowtheimpure3 жыл бұрын
My hospital uses 'Code Yellow' for bomb threats. Code Black was determined to be too intimidating to guests and could induce panic. If the ER is full and/or running low on resources, an announcement of "Delta Level is Red" will be given.

IKR She's sliiightly carrying the show in my opinion. I say slightly, cause everything else except her has flaws, but is still lovable and enjoyable, while she's flawlessly making Kumoko out to be an awesome character, about as awesome as she was in the Light Novel and the Manga. If there's anything I didn't really like about the Anime, it may be the design choice of Kumoko (mostly her eyes, and mostly on her 3D model, her 2D look is better), cause I'm a huge fan of her design in the Manga, more than her design in the Light Novel (cover art, and such). Also the look of her Zoa Ere transformation in the Anime is just a bit...weird. But, other than that, I like it, and enjoy it.

Normally, the kid’s anime is positive and has a normal or healthy body for the G rating, but the damaged bodies in adult shows are terrifying, so the clash of these 2 in such a way gives some worldbuilding as well as warnings for health complications. A show can change from episode to episode.. but people hardly.. if someone wasn't interested, they won't be even after. And that vise versa. The loud minority shows some interest, that's great. But still, Not everyone is a KZbinr, a Article writer or even a commenter. Most just keeps on ignoring or watching that's close to their interest. If anything these people will find each other on Reddit, wich i would not dare to enter. Don't get me wrong, it's really just that most people if not already but will find out about the seasonal anime lists, and from there people will only come to these videos to hear about the ones they wanna hear about, to hear praises, or be outraged by it.

@@djohnsveress6616 i tried to understand what you commented and ill answer from what i understood... From my perspective this is the first I've heard of Wonder Egg and from how this youtuber had endorsed the series its making me want to watch it more, that in its self is proof that the youtuber is doing his job sharing his passion for that certain series. Now i am aware that you may write my statement as a lie and that is entirely up to you, If you can believe that people like me exist or not. Also you say reddit does these stuff all the time?? That's good! But it isn't really a competition is it? The more publicity a certain anime gets the better it is for the people who made this show exist in thw first place! And besides not everybody is on reddit as not everybody is a regular on youtube either. So really why does it matter who gets to endorse what? This also answers the question why does it need to be 'publicly' loved. Next question, what difference does it make if a youtuber says it? Riddle me this, why do people follow influencers? Because big influencers have already established multiple times to have good taste on the products they talk about. Naturally people follow the leader to a certain extent and judge these for themselves. There is also the issue of an overwhelming amount of shows so highlights like these are welcomed by viewers. (Slime, my next life as a villainess on the top of my head are both animes endorsed by him that i had fun watching.) I hope I was able to get my point across. To summarize really, the "issues" you pointed out imo don't really matter. At least from what i understood.

It's not "Lo-Fi Lesbians to ibibe eldritch knowledge and lose your mind to", It's "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Anime"

I am honestly disappointed he didn't mention either S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Roadside Picnic, with the latter being the obvious inspiration for where the "picnic" in the title comes from.

I've been waiting like 3 years for "so I'm a spider now? So what!" ever since I found book 1&2 of the LN at a local comic book convention. Not to mention after the first announcement trailer was uploaded 2 years ago!

God damn, I read slime manga before it became an anime, now it's jobless and spider... I thought none of these would ever make it so big... I LOVE THIS SEASON...

I'm a year late to the party, but So I'm a Spider, So What? is by far my favorite light novel. I watched the anime and got hooked, and ended up reading 12 volumes of the light novel in about a month and a half. It's got excellent writing, humor, characters, lore, pacing, and is much clearer about the timeline than the anime is. If you enjoyed the anime or think you'd enjoy it at all, ease read the light novel. It's amazing in every way.

In my experience, you can definitely cut some corners going from skateboard to snowboard. It's safe to say i'm no Shawn White, but I got the hang of it in a couple of days.

Its great that Wonder Egg Priority its getting the love it deserves, the first episode was shockingly good, and yeah, I'm gonna rewatch it for the OST and the ED alone, that shit is God-tier.
