Just saw these guys live last month. Met them before the show. It was my 13 y/o’s first ever concert. Justin talked with him before the show and then during the last song - this song - they had an unnatural pause during the bridge where Justin thanked the crowd and at the end of the shout-outs he called out my son and talked to him from the stage for a solid 15-20 seconds right before coming back in and finishing the song. It was the most magical first concert experience that someone could have. Great show by the MCS crew. A truly special night for my kid and me.

The future freaked me out (or I thought it did) when I was 12, hearing this song for the first time. Now I'm 28 and it still freaks me out. I swear Motion City is one of the only bands from my adolescence that hits me as hard as it did back then. Growing up and dealing with life, death, shit, relationships, and everything has made this bands music MORE relatable to me over time. Everything they put out still holds up. Thank you for the tunes.
