What venue do you normally sue someone (credit agencies) for breach of contract?

Yes it would normally fall under law or civil division. It would be filed through a Law Firm whom represent a collection agency.

District court small claims if under 5 or 10k

Small claims typically have a limit of $4k -$15k. If it’s Mores than you file in the Commons pleas court or whatever name your State court uses in your jurisdiction.

what would be filedif a judgement was already filed against me even though it's my ex husbands debt? it was already decided in an earlier divorce case thaat he was responsible bt then he went to prison for 2 years so therefore the company came for me. Now he is out and i want to file it on him

File a new “case” which involves complaint and summons served on defendant. Not legal advice but familiar with the basics of law.

If you have a court order that predates the judgement, you win. If you have a court order AFTER the judgement, refer the creditor to that.
